Believe it or not, it took ages too
haha I can imagine....god I spend WAY to long sometimes with paint shop pro playing with transparency effects....then found gimp did it in like 20 seconds....whoops!!

well after simple playing around again, I have abandoned the 'classical gas' style homescreens I enjoyed using and definately enjoyed making, for a more simpler Iphone like display...
say what you will, but I DO like the look of the UI on the iphone...so with that in mind I redid all the icons for the folders and cut me a nice iphone dock and only 2 screens, with a custom lockscreen theme MIUI III from XDA...

Edit Just to add, you wont be able to change the dock unless you use a different launcher, ie launcher pro etc

The screenshots look really washed out compared to what it actually looks like on my phone. The wallpaper is more blue/less purple on the phone!
I have another homescreen but that just has the Launcher Pro Friends widget on it.

mine at the moment
moved to go launcher as i think its now better than launcher pro and the resize options are free (no nag ware)
app drawer is better and the screens are customisable like miui

I would use Go Launcher if there was a standalone version of the Launcher Pro friends widget, looks really good but there's no decent replacement for the lp friends/htc friendstream widget.

Dunno. I really like Pure messenger widget. Looks wrong at first but once you add custom skins and transparencies, it looks much better than the friendstream and LP offering.
Its just the cost really.

That big black splodge looks suspiciously like where autokiller would fit in your app drawer. No need to be ashamed, we know its not a task killer

nah they to obsessed with iphone4's
and colorize is quite nice you know. its free and i used it just for my fav contacts. used go launcher to resize it then stuck it on one of my other screens
i cant remember who it was who recommended it a while ago when it was new but its definitely a keeper for me

Couldn't get on with Pure Messenger so I've got a refund on it and installed Colorize instead! Prefer scrollable widgets.
And I've swapped LP for Go Launcher, liking it so far
And Go Dialer is a real improvement over both the Android and Sense dialer and contact apps!

i find colorize quite nice tbh, it was one of the reasons i decided to change to go launcher even though i only use the contacts widget.
however im glad a moved to go launcher. imo its going to be the new launcher pro
the fact that you can customise it in the same way as launcher pro makes it familiar yet refreshing

no but im running GV 1.5 and its aosp with no sense and no bloat
it draws them nice and fast.
