Show us your Desire Homescreens...

Are any of you getting the delay to draw the apps in the app drawer with Go Launcher? It would take ages to put the icons in place. That was one of the problems that made me switch to ADW launcher.

No delay for me, using stock Desire 2.2 with Go launcher ex and Go sms..

Maybe I didn't try it for long enough then, with the default skin it seemed I could only press left and right and see one post at a time.

Yeah theres so many options to configure. But there are also several different sizes as soon as you select Pure messenger as a widget inlcuding one that is 4x4 scrollable, which I stretch in LPP to be 5x4

Hmmm I didnt get that battery with V4 of honeybread. Also it still shows as v3 in Theme chooser.

Although I edited honeybread in UOT and put the tiny battery in it anyway.

My latest offering, though it has changed slightly again LOL.

I'm liking the orange theme.

funny you say that. I've just now uninstalled Go launcher for that very same reason...I would get massive random lag on opening the app draw...I'd press app draw button an it wouldnt do a thing....I would have to do it multiple times or shift to a new homescreen to get it to work...so have gone back to LLP for now.

Yeah I did.
As a launcher, its features where great, and for a while I used it. But the lag on the app draw was atrocious. Hence I'm back on Launcher Pro plus.
Tried all the launchers, anas I always come back to LPP.
Sure it had its faults, but compared to some launchers, these are minor.

Andy

did you select the right version of your Rom in the drop down menu?

Yeah GV 1.5. I've upgraded to 1.6 now but hadn't at that point.

I left it for 10 minutes just to see if it needed a long time to boot like when you first install a new ROM, but nada

Hmm.

This is the problem though, with framework-res.apk updating with every ROM, you have to recook every time.

Personally I use the themechooser option. I upload a themechooser.apk instead and cook to that. Then you don't need to update the theme with every version, or indeed between different theme chooser roms.

Have a go with that too. No flashing. Just an apk to install and select in themechooser.

ive not experienced this at all on go launcher but then im using GV and its standard launcher is lightweight so memory isnt an issue

Ive just had a bacon, 2 hash brown and mushroom sandwich. mmmmmmm

ah seriously your a b*tch lol

BUT back on topic...if only for one post lol

I am considering maybe trying L7 launcher....anyone tried it yet?

I know its mentioned over on XDA, but I REALLY cannot be arsed going over there lol...wanna know if anyone here has tried it..

No, but checking it out now. Looks like what I eventually want to achieve using desktop visualiser

Dont like it. Like the premise but clunky and slow. Also it comes with 2x1 images, but it doesnt yet support adding 2x1 yourself it says.

Bit of a let down really. Prefer launcherpro with desktop visualiser like I posted last time.

I am going to add images to those tiles soon.

One benefit of L7 is that you can set the tile colours so you dont have to add any images for a plain tiles look. 1 (slightly scrollable) homescreen is not enough for me though.

I had a quick browse over at XDA an some are saying the donate version has alot more in it...as in custom options..
