It was fun :)
Is that your actual homescreens, or was that just for fun too?

I have a 2 style thing. Those 3 then 4 basic ones.

I have 2 scrollable dock, both with same functions except one has transparent set of icons so can scroll it invisible depending which set of homescreens I'm on.

Hi there,
Just wondering what the font you're using on here is and (if it's not a commercial font) if there's any chance you could point me to the zip?:D

Cheers
Elbee

It's Droidsans. One of the free ones that come with the Font Changer Mod.

I'm not into tinkering myself but I've gotta say, you lot have some amazing home screens.

When I first set my eyes on this thread, I was amazed at the creativity and uniqueness of these homescreens. They looks so complicated, but so cool. I never thought I would ever get anything like that, but in actual fact, they are really pretty easy to do. You don't even need to be rooted.

The screenshots I posted above, all contain no modding or anything, just all using simple widgets taken from the market. Easy :)

Boring Huh!?! :D

Boring maybe, but sometimes the simplest homescreens are the most functional. Don't get me wrong, I love widgets. But sometimes I do get fed up with all the scrolling in app drawers and so on.

Unlike iphone users, android gives us the best of both. People like yourself can keep it nice and simple, with mostly apps filling their homescreens. Whilst others can make it all fancy and customise everything. Android allows the user to make a phone which suits them. It's a win win :)

All right, all right. You got me into it.

This is my lazy man version ie. wallpaper comes with the Honeycomb theme for Ginger Villain, standard LP menu bar etc.

NB: It's not sunny in London. Overcast. My weather widget is playing up. Or maybe it's a government subliminal messaging campaign; "Everything is good", "England is sunny", "War = Peace"

"War = Peace"

"Freedom = Slavery" :P

Can you repost the image? It didn't work.

and "Ignorance = Strength"

Can you see it now?

What about 2+2=5 :P I wonder if people will understand us here lol :)

I can see it now, I like it. That's more or less what I ran for ages before my current one. As I say, simplicity is often best.

Have you tried sony ericsson's Arc launcher btw? Given your homescreen, I think you might like it :)

Screenshot's of when I used it. I think I might switch back now, it's really nice. Especially the animations and folders.

what weather widget you using? and what service is it using?

im using Fancy Widgets myself with it using the Weatherbug service...and I have never had any kinda differing weather report to what the Met Office has to say, mainly because weather bug actually takes it data from the exact same sources as the Met Office..

I've had perfect results in both Maidenhead and Norwich...now if the Met Office has bad reports...well thats a different matter ;):D

I am sure a few will ;)
I for one have no idea what you guys are talking about.

I do like that except for - and this will sound wierd - the shade of green of the clock hands and the messaging, phone and notification bar icons. Can't stand that shade. So I'll change them if I install that.

It's 3D Digital Weather Clock.

I've got Fancy Widgets. I downloaded it based, I think, on your recommendation in another thread. The clocks fine but the weather part of it doesn't work. It always says "weather forecast not available at this time"

Got it working. I had to turn on "Use GPS Location". Apparently they can't pick me up on the standard radar. It must be my stealth profile.

And yes it does seem to be more accurate so cheers for that.
