Are your dialler, ringer and sms icons on a slider? If so what is it?

I thought that at first, then saw 'unlock' right at the bottom...I think dillaer, ringer and SMS are actually shortcuts on something like Extended controls or Widgetzoid or something similar with the same back ground stretching across.

Not posted in this thread in ages.... went through a phase of not tinkering other than installing Redux. Just couldn't be bothered. Then yesterday I got the urge, installed MIUI, played with it for the day, decided it wasn't for me, back to Redux then a new set up.

So here we go....

Running LP+, The doc icons are white SmoothStar by Le3ky, rooted with Redux Rom, Wallpaper from Zedge. Oh and using the LP+ s23 XTG Skin from the market.

Widgetlock with unlock bar from XDA, SDS Clock and Battry Circle Widget

UberMusic (alpha from the guy who does LauncherPro), YouTube and TuneIn

Folders for Games, News, Media, Tools and the Market Icon. Think they are LP Icons...

It could be a themed slider on widget locker you think? ..And then just widgets like you suggest.

it COULD be a themed slider...but just seems a lil more like its shortcuts off extended controls....I think its a small slide unlock RIGHT at the bottom...

but I could be wrong...we shall all have to wait an see

oh right...whoops..

thats ACTUALLY what I was getting at when I first mentioned it....guess I forgot to say "theme widget locker unlock" etc....an just rambled bout extended controls part..haha...whoopsie!

Sorry for the late reply guys. Yes deanshep85 is exactly right. The only slider is the unlock one at the bottom. The three you're looking at, dialler, ringer, and sms, are just a 3X1 widgetoid widget with three short cuts. Set to 50% transparency I think.

very sexeh, did you do all the transparencies yourself

All the transparencies are created using the widget background settings on all my widgets. The only differance is Go SMS Pro which is using a theme.

Everything can be recreated within the widgets.

oh yea...

and +1 for widgetoid...gotta love that just a lil more than extended controls..

I use it as I dont have a 2.3 ROM so dont have the power control options as default in notifications BUT use that lovely lil option in widgetoid....and sneakily I put the 'hidden widget' on another launcher...which allows me to use it in notifications in Launcher pro

What rom do you have? Notification power controls is not a 2.3 thing. Its an extra added on at rom compilation and many 2.2 roms have it too. You can even get it on 2.2 sense roms.

Screen format doesnt really change, although something new would be nice but tends to be only the wallpaper changes. I guess now im rooted and can have as many apps as I want, then I may need to look into making folders rather than individual app shortcuts on my screens, although I do have one screen far right that has nothing on it ... yet lol

1st screen - Main Screen & Main Dock
2nd Screen - 1st Left Internet bookmarks & newspapers/news etc
3rd screen - 2nd Left Entertainment & system tools
4th Screen - 3rd Left Shopping, bookies, games & wallpaper/ringtone
(some of the items on 3rd & 4th screen are about to get moved to tidy these up and group together better)

5th screen - 1st right direct dial shortcuts, vlingo in car widget & picture of my current dogs & 2nd dock
6th screen - 2nd right calendar widget

7th screen - Main screen again but with 3rd dock (some of which dont have custom icons for, so made them all the standard icons but would love to change)

well as standard its a 2.3 thing though...and im running Leedroid 2.3 (no GB leedroid, just older 2.3 leedroid) and have never seen notification extra for it.

no its not, its added via cyanogen etc. its not part of aosp code

leedroid doesnt have it as he doesnt really do much to the rom other than adding a few custom programs and using an awesome kernel built by snq

actually speaking of being image heavy....and I know this will sound like a bitch and moan....but is there anyway of getting people to maybe post smaller pics, or thumbnail links to the screens. It's just sometimes the files are so large and there's SO many on the page (especially on earlier pages) that I find it either crashes or throws formatting out the window and posts get all bent out of shape sometimes...

not to mention those of use on phones/mobile broadband who don't have GREAT speeds and it lags a while to get pics...

Im not trying to have a bitch, its just sometimes its a lil hard going getting through the pages..
