Have been watching in the wings for quite some time and I must say there are some extremely talented people in this Forum, very impressed with the works of art that have been posted so far in this thread.

Just a quick question for m0J03, I simply adore this background would you mind terribly posting a link to it.

Thanks in advance

My latest offering.

Sorry about the thumbnails, I'm still TRYING to figure out how to post full size screenshots in this forum.

Looks great, what home replacement are you using? (rooted?)

What Icons are those btw?

Yup Rooted using Open Home with Dark Dream skin.
Icons are Blacklight free from the market.
Wallpaper is a freebie from Mabilo altered by myself to add the sunken HTC logo.

Wow, all the homes pages look kool.

How do you get wallpapers/icons like that?

Is it an app that lets you choose what ones you want?

P.S. do you have to have an unbranded phone in order to customise your homes pages like that.

You can get Icons, and Wallpaper free from the market. I personally use Zedge, and Mabilo to find decent wallpapers, but any image can do. As for Icons, you need an app like Better Cut or Apps Organiser to change the default Icons to one from the free Icon sets. Open Home also comes with nice altered default Icons to match whatever skin you're using.

As for the unbranded phone. No not at all. Or at least I don't think you do. Just the apps I mentioned above to change the Icons.

Hi all

I've only had my phone for a week and i've come across this brilliant forum, got to say there are some superb set ups going on. Which leads me to a few questions (you knew it was coming!! :D )

I'm trying to set an image to be wallpaper but i don't know how to show the whole image. When setting to wallpaper it comes up with some bloody box to crop the image. Do i need to save the image to a particular location? If so how? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

@ Mkacid I love your backgrounds, fonts etc You've got very good taste mate. Sorry about this, as I am sure you have probably been asked about this lots of times. Do i need to root my phone to change the icons like you have done. If I don't have to root would you mind telling me how to go about changing the icons. Cheers

Thanks all.

the wallpaper needs to be 960x800 resolution. You can drag the cropping square to make it bigger.

nope, get an app called folderorganizer, it will let you do it.

i'll just have to sit on my hands and wait for this update.. i'm with Vodafone.
i took my phone into a girl in the Vodafone shop and she was totally confused with the look of my phone. i'm so inspired by all the pretty screens *swoon*. but as a girl living on her own with a clothing addiction i'm all about the free apps etc. ... SO, for fun (a little off topic) my question is, How much do you think you guys have spent customizing your phones? anyone dare to add it up?

I've spent nothing other than time on my customisation other than WaveSecure.

Oh...& Ghost Radar, which I only downloaded 'cos it was cheap & tested currency rates on my friend's credit card before I paid for the tracing app :)
