They couldn't have been more ON topic.

i got it on my widget page, i done an update to see if HTC had realeased any new ones about 6 weeks ago and that was there. a few days later they took it down.

Only just got the phone so still playing this is what mine looks like at the moment, from left to right. also there are two extra shots showing two of my widgets open to show more apps :)

Hi all.

I don't have my phone yet (due on the 22nd June) but I'm trying to get things organised before I get it.

As a total newbie to both Android and this forum, I hope you don't mind it I throw in a few question.

I would like to know :
= what the ideal size for the background picture would be (i know the screen is 480x800 so have been working on that)

I thank you for any help.

If the picture is bigger, it just scrolls when working across the desktop. With mine, which was huge, it allowed me select a section from the picture, so it remains static and you can select the best bit. Although i realise i've not really just answered your question.

Wallpapers need to be 960 pixels wide, by 800 pixels tall. Even through the screen width is only 480 pixels, the 960 pixels are so that when you slide from home screen to home screen, it shows a different part of the image.

As long as your image is of a high enough quality I find it doesn't matter on the resolution as when you select a wallpaper it allows you to choose which part you want, and as long as you balance what you want in the middle and on the sides they usually turn out ok (which is how I ended up with mine)

has anyone else found the 'system info widget' quite draining on the battery...? my battery seems to be dieing a lot quicker since installing it....

O.o that's strange. I have mine and it barely affects the battery (like less than 1%). Uninstall it to see if it's the culprit.

Here are the icons I have been using plus a few others, some are not final but are pretty nice anyway. I didn't make any of them just lots of crawling through google trying to see what I can find.

They are all in PNG format so just use your favourite shortcut maker (I use FolderOrganizer) to apply them.

@nx1977: Is that smooth calendar you're using or is it something else? If it is, how did you get that skin?
