Show us your Desire Homescreens...

Here are the icons I have been using plus a few others, some are not final but are pretty nice anyway. I didn't make any of them just lots of crawling through google trying to see what I can find.

They are all in PNG format so just use your favourite shortcut maker (I use FolderOrganizer) to apply them.

what application are you using for changing your icons?

I'm using folder organizer and it's great but it's resulting icon displays are slightly different from the original.
titles are smaller, position are closer to the image, and background color of the title are black, not transparent.
so if I place it side by side with other normal apps, they look irregular.. :)
it's great that i can change icons and rename title of apps and folders (or labels) with it, but i'm hoping there's another app that produces much standard results so I can put them together with regular ones.

regards,

off the top of my head i'm gonna assume that he is using 'BetterCut' that's what i used for changing my shortcut icons, costs a couple of dollars though.

What resolution are the icons you are using?

@nx1977: on your 5th screen down, how have you managed to get the power control widget small enough to fit an app icon either side?

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is you are having, I've used all those icons in that zip I posted and had no problems, they are all transparent, here's another screenshot of them (using LauncherPro now)

You can see the custom icons plus normal ones and they all look fine to me

yup, the icons are fine. it's the folder organizer application that i'm using that creates an item and label that are slightly diff from normal ones.

so its LauncherPro you're using for changing icons, thanks.
but can i used this app just for changing app and folder icons+text?
may i retain the normal interface, like the bar/tabs below the screen?

I'm using LauncherPro as a replacement to the SenseUI interface and doesn't really have anyything to do with the icons.

I don't see the problem you are having myself, perhaps try another version of FolderOrganizer, I had a problem with it first of all where it didn't work very well.

Hi, whats that wallpaper you use for the home screen? I need something simple and classy and yours looks great.

Also, does anyone know how to get rid of the android "green monster" as my wife calls it? Its annoying already and I've only had the phone a coupla weeks.

there is a stock wallpaper which is very similar (the only dark one in the set) but if u search in most wallpaper apps for ''carbon fiber'' or ''android'' some usually pop up.

Who? This one...

Erm, well she's my girl and the picture came from a "photoshoot" :D

Just wanted to say that I had major issues with battery after downloading many of the widgets here. I suspect it was launcher pro.
Also , I had the same issue with folderorganizer, just didn't save links the same as the pictures shown here. However, going to the sites direct, it seemed to work fine?
Thanks to all, if I can figure out how to take screen shots like is explained already ill post up pics of who I've copied ( Mr hachi, rotor, and derringer).

i found that apps organizer(fabio collini) will use the ibox icons that you can download for free from the market so you dont have to pay for open home full :)

Seeing as a few people on here are now playing around with some icons, I'm wondering if anyone has come across a similar problem to me.

I'm switching the icon to different images, and all works perfectly....apart from the messages (sms) icon. When I long press.add shortcut etc, the icon appears as the alternative one i've selected, but only for about 2 second, then it goes back to the standard. I've been trying it in all different ways for effin' hours now, but it won't have it.

any tips anyone?
