If you look back at my post I did say what they were called :p

SwitchPro and Mini info. You have to pay for switchpro but its very cheap and well worth it. Mini info is free but I have now changed that to system info widget which is also a paid app.

Only thing I dislike about switchPro is that I have to pay for some skins :( I actually donated Mini Info since it has been sitting on my phone since I first got it. So thought it was only fair for the dev making a great app. Though, I do like how system info widgets have more options for the widgets, lol.

Yeah I only use the transparent setting in switch pro, in fact never knew they sold other skins :p Yeah I've been using mini info for ages and found it perfect, also donated but find System Info gorgeous to look at and works equally as well.

I'm all about transparency on my screens as you'll see from my next post of screens :D

Updated a few of my screens so thought I'd post them on here :)

Added a few more widgets from other people's screens posted on here (Big thanks, you know who you are) Also found a lot of modded apps that have had transparent backgrounds added and I'm loving them. Took me a while to get the hang of ADB to delete and add files but got it working and liking my look now :D

Homescreen - Digital Clock Widget, Weather Widgets & Transparent Google News Widget.

I take it that's the stock News & Weather widget?

How did you get it transparent?

It is the stock News & Weather Genie widget but with the transparent background added.

The weather widget at the top is yr.no weather which is for me by far the best weather app out there. Always gets my location absolutely spot on whereas all the others say I'm in a town a few miles away. Forecast is very accurate too.

Keep plodding along till I find something i'm entirely happy with! :D

Know that feeling. Had mine 5 months now, fiddled with it ever day and only just got a setup I will leave alone for a while.

Was getting blisters and RSI the amount I was changing it!

I think most on here have suffered with Android RSI from constantly fiddling with the look of their phone. I've lost hours playing with different launchers and eventually ended up back with Sense!

Finally got a lock and homescreen I'm happy with now and no more fiddling (for now...)

SMS Unread Count (for Phone/SMS/Gmail message counts)

Its fairly straight forward.

Click the download button on the right of the screen. Once its downloaded I would create another folder on your desktop (right click mouse, new, folder) rename it Icons or something similar. Open the folder that you downloaded and go through them dragging the ones you want over to the new folder you set up. Once you have all the ones that you want connect your phone in disk mode and drag the folder over to your phone.

I presume you have folder organiser installed? If not go to the market and install it as this is the application that you need to change icons.

There is a really good walkthru here that explains how to change them if you need it.

Hope this helps and if you need to know anything else then just shout :D

I know what you mean. I've been using a lockscreen like yours for a week or so now and I've still been tweaking...

Since my last post I've moved the icons around to bring the colours together as much as I can: green on the left and blue on the right ("Hotspot Toggle" widget turns blue when switched on).

I also wanted to have new SMS, missed call and Gmail counts on but could only fit the first two in the bottom row (using "SMS Unread Count") with the "tajm" clock. My solution was to use the "Gmail Unread Count" widget with a custom transparent icon. This the little red 1 count you can see to the right of the "BattStatt" widget which is also coloured dark blue to match the orb it is in.

I reckon I'm done tweaking it for now. At least until I see the next elegant widget / icon / solution on one of the many 'homescreens' forum posts!...
