Sideloading coming to the Inspire :-)

Still waiting, does it just show up or do you have to restart the phone to show up? I just restarted and still nothing.
 
Mine was just there didn't have to restart it. I left my phone on last night so it apparently just eventually shows up
 
I'm just wondering, maybe you need WiFi, because I don't have that at my house... have you guys who have received the update been connected to WiFi?
 
The thing just showed up. I just checked earlier and there is was. I was getting worried after checking for it several times over the last few days. No need to do anything such as pulling the battery or rebooting. It'll just show up. Now if I could get my activation email for Swype, all would be good. I imagine they are probably being overwhelmed with requests...;)

I registered early this morning and still no email. Dunno what the delay is.
 
I'm really getting angry with this. I've been waiting for like 5 days now and still no update. This should have been in the check for updates thing.
 
Do you need to be connected to wifi to get it?

No I had my WiFi turned off yesterday and up until 11am and I got the update before I turned it back on.

Oddly enough my husbands inspire still doesn't have the update but mine does.
 
I don't understand the people getting impatient here. Calm down.

Four days ago you didn't know this was possible and yet now it's life or death?


C'mon guys, everything will work out fine.

I had thought they started with the west coast, but now it seems to be completely random.
 
No Update In VA:mad:. Does any one know if the work around I am using to get tethering (with the new APN) could be preventing me from receiving the update?
