1. Can anyone give feedback on 2.6.2, 2.6.3 or 2.6.4?
2. Is anyone using the Thunderbolt! script? Does it help?
EDIT: Looks like Gokhan is using beta testing these days to iron out problems before release. This is good news.

I'm using v2.6.4 and it's fine.
Yup, and yup. Thunderbolt! also installs a Siyah-specific script that can be used to further tune the kernel if desired.
I didn't use my phone much last week

I'm thinking of installing one of the 2.6 series. It's been a while now since 2.6.4 came out.

Trying the beta now. So far so good. Very smooth. Will give it a go for a bit to see how battery is

So is the procedure:
1. Flash cleaner script
2. Flash Siyahkernel 2.6.4
3. Flash Thunderbolt! script
?
I've got screenstate_scaling installed but haven't as yet got it working afaict.Did you flash any of the other Thunderbolt! scripts in the second post?
The best method would be to add two lines to the S98bolt_siyah script like this:If I want to use LulzactiveV2 and add 100Mhz minimum frequency, do I edit Thunderbolt! scripts or make a new one? In either case, can you post your script?
echo lulzactive > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
echo 100000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
Ha, without asking questions none of us would know anything.Sorry to ask so many questions

I think "optimise" is a better term than "override" as the two have worked in tandem, exchanging info and refining their work. Thunderbolt! is pretty much kernel-agnostic, hence the inclusion of the S98bolt_siyah script which contains Gokhan's kernel-specific parameters. The settings in that are even more economy-centric than the old battery.zip ones.Does Thunderbolt! override Gokhan's default battery optimized settings?
Haven't been able to try v2.6.4 and to be honest, judging by the comments on xda and the looming v2.6.5 release, I don't think I'll bother.

I've had zero problems, battery stamina seems as good as ever (-28% in almost 21hrs off-charge) with light-moderate use, and lulzactive tuned for economy is silky-smooth. Best of all, Doodle Jump still plays perfectly! However, if you ask Slug, for instance, his take on it will be completely different

Unless you have plenty of surplus braincells you want rid of I wouldn't bother reading again until v2.6.5 appears. The signal/noise ratio is dropping fast.![]()

v2.6.2 was a goodie for me and N.E.A.K. v1.2 is as good so I'll, "stick"
I wonder if N.E.A.K is more suited to CheckROM than Siyah? Just a thought....

Well just to let you know, 2.6.5 is now up.

I imagine the battery issues were temporary. What is voodoo and what does it do?
Then I only used Dolphin Browser Mini to browse to this forum
Just put on 2.6.5 now.
Obviously cant comment on battery, but it is SUPER SMOOTH for me.
Probably the smoothest I've seen of any kernel.
Lets hope battery is good...
