So Is Anyone Happy?

I love this phone. Best Smartphone I have EVER owned.

The Nexus is BY FAR the best phone I have ever owned or used. Android 4.0.3 is just blazing fast on a 1.2Gz dual-core. I have no complaints.
 
Very happy. Best android phone I have had. As for battery life mine is great, but I don't do Facebook/twitter so keep that in mind. I have 3 gmail and 1 pop account a ton of email,txt voice calls and browsing on the phone and after 16 hrs I will have 40% left on the battery.I am always in good 4g areas though as well.

Whew! Thanks to everyone for positive responses. I know there will be small nagging problems with the phone but I'm glad to see so many happy responses.

We had gone to our local VW store on Monday to check it out and they were out of Nexus's (Nexi?) but were expecting more to be shipped this Friday. With any luck, I will be the proud owner of a new phone this weekend! Kids, go make your own dinner this weekend your mother and I are playing with our new phones.
 
Happy here. Got 2 extended batteries but haven't even had to pull out the second one yet. Signal is only a problem at work, where it has always been an issue with previous phones. This one seems to be the worse in that the battery goes fast since the signal is so poor, but I can charge via usb or just turn data off. Battery tanks with use, as expected with a large screen LTE phone, but for the most part I've had no issues. I have an occasional data drop when toggling between 3G and LTE but I also think that is quite normal among most 4G phones. I had a few with the Rezound that I had for 5 weeks and now I've had the Nexus for about 4 weeks and would say I've had about the same amount. The difference for me is, the Rezound seemed to pick up 4G better than the Nexus does. At work, It can hold weak 4G where the Nexus drops back to weak 3G. Overall I'm very happy. There is room for improvement, but I think future updates will make this phone even better.
 
Very happy with my Nexus. I LOVED my Dinc, but this is a huge step forward for me. Love the screen, smoothness of the phone and yes . . . the size of it. Coming from my MUCH smaller Dinc, I wasn't sure about all of the new real estate I had, but when I look at my Dinc now I wonder how I ever got along with such a small device.
 
Best phone I've ever owned. Those complaining about issues are definitely the vocal minority. I'm sure their issues are real, but they are the exceptions, not the rule.
 
I'd rather have better battery life, and am about to order the extended battery, but that's my only complaint and it's honestly not that bad. 10ish hours with moderate to heavy use.

I love the phone and can't put it down, which is why it dies. I'm running a custom ROM and kernel on it which have helped a bit, but even stock, there's no other phone out there like a Nexus.
 
I actually had a razr. I took advantage of costcos 90 day warranty return. I like the razor quite a bit, but really was just treading water until I was able to get a nexus.

It's nice to have 3 phones to choose from on verizon for once.

I'd look real closely at the specs and decide which 1 really matches up with what you're looking for. If you really want ice cream sandwich, the nexus is the phone for you.

If you're looking for really well built hardware and an extremely thin phone , I'd look at the razr. The downside of the razr is that it has an internal battery and boy does it suck the juice. That being said, I had absolutely no signal reception issues with the razr. It has 1 of the best radios on a phone I've ever had.

My nexus has definitely had signal issues versus what I was seeing with the razor, but my calling and data usage have not been impacted.

Bottom line, my nexus is the best phone I've ever owned. I'd love it wholeheartedly.
 
To the OP: Are you new to the internet? No one comes online to say everything is fine and they have no problems. I personally love the Gnex but even I post issues about it. Only iPhone users are so delusional that they insist their phones are flawless.
 
I know you've got the idea by now, but still, I'd just like to report that everything's fine and dandy over here ;)

I love my Gnex. Easily the best phone on the market.
 
The 4G/3G handoff is a little slow sometimes. I work in a school, so lots of thick walls and hallways and such. I do lose connection moving through the school and it sometimes takes ~1m to re-establish network connection even when I know I'm now in an area with good signal. I understand this is a fairly common thing with 4G phones.

This of course is more a function of my environment than the phone and I recognize that. My Dinc couldn't hold on to 3G in this place either.

Phone recommended. But if you work in basements or bomb shelters or other places with weak/no signal, be prepared to wait a tick when you emerge into the sunlight looking for signal bars.
 
I am very happy with my Gnex. No 4g coverage in my area so no comment on that. 3G signal is pretty much the same as my OG Dinc that my husband is now using. Lovin' 4.0.
 
Loved my OD and my DX, but this phone is amazing. Knock on wood, I've had none of the troubles mentioned here. My battery last fine throughout a typical business day with this as my only phone. I live in Atlanta and have good 4G signal, not rooted, most use the phone for voice, lots of email, navigation and web queries.

Thanks again for all of the feedback! Hopefully, my friendly neighborhood Verizon person will call me today to say that the store received some "Nexi" in their Friday shipment and I can go pick them up for me & my wife tomorrow!!!
 
Coming from the Eris, you're going to have your mind blown, as I was going from the D1 to the GN. Liken it to upgrading your ride from an Impala to a Lambo.
