Just throwing this out there. When/if the time comes, I would be more than happy to be a beta tester. Granted, I won't be able to test phone/text/3G because I no longer has it as an active phone. But I can test out everything else for you.

Seriously though, its been a long time comming, and although I haven't seen any alphas/betas yet. I do have high expectations, and welcome some CHOICE in the Ally scene

Sorry man...atc3030, the lead dev in StormDroid has taken a little time off to deal with personal matters, so the project is on hold. We'll get back to all the beta testers ASAP.

I've been saying it for a while but it seems more true now than ever before, the Ally has only lasted this long in my pocket because of development like this. I love my V1.1 and all its done for my base model smartphone and I'm very curious to see what Stormdroid can bring to this party but I'm also interested to know what Trident, Savoxis, and the rest of people who contributed to making this low grade device bearable think about this rom release and what if anything from the velocity series we can hope to build upon like scripts or themes or flashability. I am very excited though, any development for this phone will extend its lifespan or at least ownership-span!
Will this one fix the volume bug and other various issues we all believe is custom rom only issues. I think its awesome that we can try an alternate rom just so we don't have to stick with stock or velocity 1 1. Although velocity is a very nice rom it seems to accelerate the minor issues with the phone.
