I'm reading all the posts about whats showing and what isn't with certain Roms. This is rich! Lol. I have no dialer on mine in the left corner running RubixBlurry 2.0, but I have the Google browser in the bottom right.
so how do you get this? sign up for the beta?
I know that you said that this needs to be installed on a ROM, but have anyone tried this on the stock 3.4.2 version?
I said that it will only run on a CUSTOM Rom. Stock roms won't work.
Sorry, I just had not heard anyone trying this with the newer leaked stock version (on several different forums). Usually there are the more adventurous types out there and thought that it would not hurt to ask.

All I can say is I wished I'd a seen this thread before I ran out and bought it. The other thing I'll say is they're damn lucky Google changed the time limit for returns from 24 hours to 15 minutes. Because I can't think of very many people who would not have returned this launcher before 24 hours had passed.
It's not that it's a bad launcher as much as it's just.... not special enough to command $15 dollars. That's a joke if I ever heard one. The ONLY thing going for this launcher is the wheel. It's eye candy plain and simple. Nothing else about this launcher is any better than Launcher Pro, ADW, Go Launcher, or ever the stock Gingerbread launcher for that matter. In fact, it's missing some basic functionality of those free launchers.
Yes I bought it. This has an app drawer. But it's no where near as good as the app drawer of my favorite... Go Launcher. It's just a basic app drawer. No customization to it. 4 rows across, 4 rows down. Can't group the apps together or anything else. And the home screens are more basic than those other launchers as well. When you add an app/folder/widget to a home screen they start at the top and work their way down. You can't for instance place an app at the bottom of your home screen. It will automatically gravitate towards the top as soon as you let it go. That's driving me CRAZY!!! Because I'm a neat freak, and I like to space things out, and center things, etc... you can't do that with this launcher. That's pretty stupid.
The spinning wheel is the ONLY thing that separates this launcher from the rest. And while it is cool and pretty, it is not worth $15 bucks. Not even close. Eye candy is the only selling point of this launcher, but they really do an almost 'Apple'esque' job of selling it with that video. They make it look sooo cool and futuristic. But once you buy it and start to play with it, it becomes clear VERY quickly that there is nothing special at all about it other than the good looks of the spinning wheel. Yes while playing with it anyone within looking distance will wonder over to see just what it is that I have going on with my home screen. But it's a sort of 'beauty is skin deep' sort of attraction.
The widgets that are unique to the launcher are pretty cool as well. But there aren't very many of them. Maybe if they churn our a bunch more it will start to be worth a little more. But the price is truly ridiculous. They need to lower it to something like $2 dollars MAX. Add more widgets and some basic functionality and it'll be worth $2 bucks. But please, PLEASE don't anyone make the same mistake I did and buy it. You will regret it.
Worst $15 bucks I ever spent. But now that I've spent it I'm going to keep it, at least for a while. Might as well. Like I said it's not that it's a BAD launcher. It just isn't special enough to pay that kind of money for it. That's all.
Ok, call me a fool but I bought it.
Works really slick on GingerRoot 2.3.3. When I was on WinMo, I also bought it. I even asked SPB but of course they said no, no discounts.
Agreed that $15 is steep, but at least it's no longer a beta. And, did I say it is smooth? No lag, no glitches. I am annoyed that my paid app Gravitron isn't supported yet (no support for live wallpaper). But this is version 1.0.1 and SPB does upgrade their products.
