Root Still can't unroot my Evo's Unrevoked 3! Please help!

what does it do? does it try and then says no image found at the end of it? is it named correctly? no extra .zip right? is it also not placed in any folders, just the top level of the card?

It does nothing. It doesn't even scan for it. It is correctly named and in the root of the SD, ill include a pic.

ok so i do not think you are on the right screen. to get to hboot, power the phone off then press and hold power+vol down. that is the hboot screen. it is programmed to automatically scan for the PC36IMG file.

Unless, it needs do be in a zipped folder?

Mine when I download them look like a regular folder with a zipper across it. They are also listed as compressed(zipped) folders rather than WinRAR zip archives. What does the file look like in your downloads folder in windows before you move it?

it looks like that straight after download. and I unpacked it and then sent it itno a zip, and it was the same thing.

Have you tried to download it right to your phone? You can use a file manager to rename and move it to the root of your card then reboot to hboot.

Really odd. I have not see one yet that wouldn't scan for the file. I wonder if the link has a bad file.

I have reinstalled Unrevoked3 and itdidnt work after I did that.
I have reformatted the device, and SD card, and idk what the **** is wrong, this sucks. It has taken me almost a week to try and figure this out.

After downloaded the RUU exe file, you should be able to run it then plug in your phone when it tells you too. You will have to confirm that you want it to erase your phone and it should go through the process of returning your phone to stock. You should not need unrevoked again.
