Root [STOCK][LINARO 4.9.3] Volt Uno v3.3

Yeah the A7 vs A15 is a shot in the dark right now, it's the only inconsistency that stood out in the log. A last_kmsg with a kernel panic logged will be ideal for troubleshooting

I figured out my boot loop, I apparently can't optimize the build (yet). Working test build for now: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jbaz45cehrd1fl3/uno_49.zip

Are there any extra debugging messages you can turn on in the source build? My logs have no apparent errors or kernel panics, they look like the last log I posted to pastebin

Something I've noticed that I just realized was the kernel... Qremote was being really flaky. Works properly with stock kernel.

EDIT: Disregard the following, bad testing lead to iffy results.
Code:
Installed rom is "ZV6 Version 2 Xperia Mod Debloated With Google Apps" with the "V1 rom update" by [USER=1021294]@Curtis1973[/USER][B][I][SIZE=4] [/SIZE][/I][/B][SIZE=4]Tests were preformed by setting 'low memory killer' to all zeros and running multiple apps at once. So far all three tests below resulted in no device hard reboots or hangs.[/SIZE]

Kernel logs incoming...

Pure stock with linaro 4.9.4: [URL]http://www.mediafire.com/download/p09mjjeesp995je/volt_stock_494.zip[/URL]
Swap works with the pure stock linaro build, no apparent crashes. Log includes output from 'uname', 'dmesg', 'free', 'swapon' and others. [URL]http://pastebin.com/pi2pVDwK[/URL]

Stock with O3 optimization: [URL]http://www.mediafire.com/download/i4971q52hsyl0od/volt_stock_o3.zip[/URL]
Same results as the last one above. [URL]http://pastebin.com/ddQ53pkZ[/URL]

Beta 1 [URL]http://www.mediafire.com/download/dwq61s0q76l0j8s/voltdos_beta1.zip[/URL]
Same test as the last two, did not try any extra features yet like KSM, just turned on swap. BUT THERE ARE NO CRASHES! Good job [USER=1566134]@spock1104[/USER] ! I'll leave this one installed for now, I'll post if there are any issues. [URL]http://pastebin.com/g28uYshS[/URL]

Is there any way USB OTG support can be added? If I understand it right, it would allow streaming video to a computer via USB?

Just so people know, Beta 1 is roughly equivalent to the May 4 version of Uno. One of the May 5 commits stops my phone from booting.

Installed beta1, booted fine. Turned on basic swap, froze on reboot. Added a delay and it booted, but froze/rebooted a few minutes later. All I had done was start setting kernel stuff, intellidemand governor, enabled multi core power saving, and set minimum boost interval to 500ms. Left maximum frequency at 1596Mhz, which was the default. That's as far as I got before it rebooted.

Did you use KSM? That seems to be causing issue but I'm still testing things

No... I didn't get that far. Literally everything I set is listed in my pervious post and I was still on the page when it froze up so I don't know if anything got applied. Anytime I flash a new kernel I uninstall swap and clear data on Kernel Adiutor so the new kernel can be sure to load with default internal settings on first boot. Installed with the multi rom version of TWRP, without injecting any of the extra stuff out offers during install cause I don't know what those are for.

That is a abandoned version of TWRP that was going to allow for dual rom boots, like you would dual boot a OS on your desktop or laptop. Bad_mofo couldn't get that feature working so he abandoned the idea. It should be alright to use but I would go install this one https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347771339 also made by Bad_Mofo Maybe you should check out the micro sd card for errors just to rule that one out.

I have the multi rom version installed because it allows for img installation as well as zips...I thought there was another one. Thanks for pointing this out!

I'm not using the micro SD for anything, so that wouldn't be a factor here. Also, it's only a few months old and has only ever been in the phone.

I wiped everything using TWRP and redid it all, just flashing the Xperia rom, the rom update v1, and just the UNO Beta v1 from spock1104. Now I have reboots when enabling swap, I'm not entirely sure why this is or if some random mix of kernel zips being flashed did something. I will say I'm not an expert or claim to be so I don't have a idea at this moment.
