Root Stuck on boot screen

Ok, I found a great vid on this:

HTC Evo 4G (HD 720p) Touch Screen Glass Digitizer & LCD Display Repair Replacement Guide - YouTube

The point of interest is at about 3:11 in the vid where it mentions the three ribbon connectors. The digitizer attaches to the center location on the motherboard. Have you checked all 3 of those connections? If you have the guts, I would make SURE they are all seated in all the way and secure. I've had issues before where ribbon cables SEEM to be secure but they are not fully seated.

mmm interesting.. im Going to take a look at the video, Issue a refund and try to get the digitizer from a local store(hopefully it wont be too spensive) depending on what I can catch from the video.

since Im at work I cannot open the phone right here , not because Im at work but because I left the tools at home :P

I got some tools at work and decided to open the phone again . I dont see anything unusual with the ribbons and yes I took a good look to see if they were correctly placed. All I think is left is to get another digitizer and test it out.

Since Im thinking about getting another digitizer for the phone(probably the digitizer and the screen together) I m wondering if there is any posible way I can unroot the phone in the current state? or should i just try the RUU again?

Why would you want to unroot it?
And I think there is no ruu for your 5.07 version anyhoo

I dont know i think i may left the phone rooted. Now I was thinking about it and like i said before installing the old (broken) digitizer doesnt seems to show improvement so now Im thinking what is actually the problem, the digitizer or the LCD... I was thinking what if I reflash the phone??

Well gentlemen today I received a new digitizer and LCD as a bundle, im about to start installing it, Just wanted to let you guys know .

Wish me luck :X

Gentlemen the problem has been solved and the situation is back to normal now, as
CapThrowback stated before it seemed to be a hardware problem , Im actually not sure if it was the LCD or the digitizer because I replace them both , but the phone is working back again.

Hope this thread is helpful for someone who may experience the same situation , I just happen to run bad luck. Thanks to all you guys who helped me and walk me though I really appreciate you help
