Root Swype keyboard

anybody able to point me to a way to get latest Swype keyboard on my MIUI ROM rooted OG-EVO? Was just starting to like using it on my latest pre-root sprint/htc update...

Hey! I don't swype, too uncoordinated, but i remembered reading this so I found it for you to try.

Here's the best answer...install this APK file....it's prettier than the default Swype anyway.

the easiest way to get the newest swype is to sign up for the beta.

then download the newest I been using it for a while its very very good

Nope. Using on deck aosp gingerbread right now and it works great

be aware if you decide to use the themed one, that it will eventually stop working once swype expires its license. you will then need to uninstall it and use the beta until the themer puts out a new apk

How long does the license last? I have had the apk for quite awhile with no problems, but I'm usually reinstalling it via titanium from time to time since I hop around from rom to rom.

honestly I have no idea. It used to happen a lot before they opened the beta, but I'm not sure if they're bothering with it anymore.

I'm just repeating what one of the themers said over on myn's forum about his themed apks. I guess it might not be an issue anymore, but you also don't get the updates, either.
