Gonna try it tonight. I've been running Uber BAMF today. I know you're kinda anti-bamf, but it ran nice, bootup was super fast, and the icons were already resized without having to change lcd density. Think Synergy will do that eventually? I must say I dig the synergy blue theme much more than anything else. I'm anti-green.

Well, honestly its pretty low on their priority list. It's a minor annoyance rather than an issue that's big like sense redraws. Synergy is all about performance rather than looks. Function over form although it does look decent in sense from what little i've seen of it anyway. Lol.

I hate green. Lol. If you're trying synergy, grab darkhorse. Honestly my phone feels naked without it.

Nah, theres no point to it. I only do the format option. It does all the same shit that the others do and more. If it doesnt do it the first time, its not going to do it any other time. I do a format one time, flash and enjoy. The code that it uses to wipe isnt going to miraculously change on each wipe.

What do you mean by format option? And what is darkhorse?
 
There doesn't seem to be a way to clear my voicemail notification. No option to clear appears and it won't clear if I tap the notification either. Also won't clear if I clear a different notification. So I guess I'll never know if I have a voicemail till they fix that. Also DSP Manager does nothing at this time, which is a big bummer for me.

Jump over to infectedrom.com and youll see more on it. I think Im one of three people here that run synergy. It's not a beginners rom for the most part.

On recovery. The first wipe option is whatvim talking about. It wipes everything. Dark Horse is my favorite theme. Really good couple of guys that workvtheir asses off on the theme.

So you have to re-setup your phone for each new build. Doesn't that get old doing it every day?

Honestly it depends on what you have setup. I have tons of custom shit that takes me maybe an hour of setup, that includes my app restore, widget placement, syncing fb, three yahoo email accounts, gmail, google music and everything else.
Plus not every build has to be flashed. Sometimes it's only a couple small things you can just push to your phone.
 
So, this is going to be a wall of text. Experienced SynergyRoms users can skip this.

So, with all of the new faces we see lately, a lot of questions are repeatedly asked. Hopefully this will answer 90% of things.

Well start off with flashing the rom and how to do it. First you want to download the ROM Here.

You now need one of the mr2.x+ or mr3 radios. You need to WIPE WIPE WIPE, so make sure you make a nandroid and you backup your apps in either mybackup pro or Titanium Backup. Im partial to MR3 and TiBu myself. You need to place the ROM in a place on your SD card that youll be able to find it. I reccommend placing it in the root or in a new folder so that you know exactly where to look at it. If you place it in root, youll just have to press the up volume button once and itll be right there.

This is how I do it after downloading what I need. The Radios can be found on my website Here The RADIO needs to be renamed to PG05IMG.zip and placed on the ROOT of your SD card. REMEMBER TO DELETE, RENAME OR REMOVE AFTER BOOT OR YOU WILL RUN INTO PROBLEMS.

1. Download Titanium Backup or MyBackupPro(this will be auto installed from the the ROM) from the market and install whichever you choose.
2. Run the app backup app you decided on. Make sure you backup everything you want to keep.
3. Restart the phone into Recovery. You can do this by either going into ClockworkMod and clicking restart into recovery, or if you have the five in one restart, you can just hold down the power button and click restart into recovery.
4. Now that youre into recovery, you want to scroll down to where it says backup and recovery. Select it and click backup. This will take a while.
5. Once this is done, go back to the main menu and click wipe data/format. Let that run through.
6. Once thats done, go back into the main menu and click install zip from SD card and click choose zip from sdcard. Now you need to go to wherever you placed the rom that you downloaded and click it. Flash it in.
7. Reboot
8. To install the radio, after flashing in the rom, i do a battery pull and then press volume down and power at the same time. This will bring you into hboot. Select yes to upgrade and then reboot.
9. ???????????
10. WINNING!

Now, here are some tips when it comes to use of the ROM. If you want to see what issues have been fixed or what commits have been done, Check HERE. This page has an issues section, but PLEASE do us all a favor and keep this tidy. If you run into an issue, POST HERE FIRST and try to get an answer. Polluting it with issues like "I have no network connection your rom is broken" arent helpful. It leads to Team Synergy wasting time clearing up issues that are due to user error rather than something thats actually a problem. If youve still got an issue, then post it on the repo.

When going from build to build, it is ALWAYS recommended to wipe, but there are builds that you dont have to do this with and its called Dirty flashing. If you dirty flash, and have ANY issues, you need to WIPE AND REFLASH before posting them. Chances are it was caused by dirty flashing.

If you have ANY issues, everyone here is ALWAYS glad to help, but asking the same questions over and over isnt helpful for ANYONE and only leads to frustration. Enjoy!
 
I am currently running UberBAMF and my synergy download just finished and I am about ready to flash this to check it out...I am wondering what kernel is included with the ROM, and is it something that can be overclocked/undervolted?

Ziggys kernel(best sense kernel dev period) and its both overclockable and undervoltable. I would run it for a couple days to see if you actually need it though. He tweaks his for us with almost the same voltages as he uses. He goes a bit lower on the voltage than most for his personal.

Sweet deal, I'll be flashing that soon, quick question...how do I get the lockscreens icons...mine aren't showing up
 
They pop up for like half a second but they disappear just a fast and never done back up :( help me lol...should I reflash??

Hmmmm. If its stock, you shouldnt have any issues with it. I tested something earlier today and I had to flash stock so I know that it works. Maybe try a wipe and flash. Did you check the MD5?
