Why email HTC? I was under the impression that we are waiting on Sprint to test it and release now.

I'd like 2.1...but really, with the HTC skin over everything, I really don't mind 1.5 at all...

We're all tired of waiting, but the only way you'll get 2.1 in the next few months is to root and install build from xda(currently not completely functional, but hopefully very soon) or jump ship for the Nexus or for the Droid (2.1 available soon). For those waiting on Sprint....it could be a long road. Sprint is slow at best to issue any upgrade. Ask an owner of the HTC TouchPro 2. They were promised WinMo 6.5 within a few weeks of its debut, and still waiting, even though the other carriers have already upgraded. Just saying.....

Looks good...hopefully we'll get Android 2.1 sooner than later. Part of me feels like we'll never get 2.1 because of Sprint...I hope I'm wrong.

I know Sprint said it's coming, but I'm a former Instinct user who got burned after the promised app store never came...
