The best camera in the world...

Why would he do that?
I believe it's part of the male hierarchy and has something to do with mating--or NOT mating, more accurately. The oldest, most mature adults don't do it, at least that I've observed. And they're the ones who get to mate. :) So it seems like frustration on the younger males' part.

Here's a snap of a new cell phone tower they are building a block from my house. But I haven't found out which carrier it is. It may be Tmobile. I'll keep you informed as it comes along with assembly.

A rainy Sunday with free time, as today is 'risky' in this home. A day that simply asks for creative ideas. Like baking a ciabatta bread ourselves for the pasta tonight (in itself a fairly innocent plan today). 'Let's go, do, action!'
And hopla, the pajamas are exchanged for regular clothes and out in the rain for flour, yeast and olive oil. (I hope Bread is back from work and available as a back-up soon :p)
And on the way back an extra round back and forth across the bridge in our village. Simply because it can be done.
I have a wonderful guy.

The required switch to digital projection systems has forced the closure of many small town cinemas...which you can read about here and here.

Luckily, the Lincoln Theater in Mt Vernon, WA was able to raise enough money through membership donations to purchase a digital system. To celebrate the event, the theater's first digital projection was a free showing of Singin' in the Rain.

After the movie, I took this night shot using my Galaxy S4 using "Night mode" while bracing myself against a lamp post to avoid blurring the long exposure.

I will be returning to the theater on November 2 for a showing of the cult-classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

With a bit of a mind flip...
You're into a time slip...
And nothing can ever be the same.

The sum total of my weekends work. On Friday evening, that cupboard was an unshelved mess of toys, clothes and various junk I've accrued over the years. Now we're at least 90% ready for the new arrival (there are loads of baby things behind both those mirror doors).

Close inspection by a professional and I'd get crucified, but I'm delighted with it!

Just another pizza Tuesday.
Potatoes, balsamic shallots, blue cheese, Parm, rosemary, pine nuts. Delicious.
Not the best of the doughs we've made for pizza, but pretty good.

Just found this on my kitchen floor.. Yes those dots are blood spatter. Found nothing else! Just a few feathers and some small dots of blood that don't lead to anywhere!!! Guess this is a case for CSI special pet victims unit ...:0

????? WHERE IS THE BIRD???????

Umm, having a beer with the tail-less chipmunk?

Testing the low light performance of my G2 on the fly this morning. Beautiful fullish moon I wanted to capture on the way to work. Little blurry, but nice nonetheless. :)

(and yeah, I took it in the middle of the street ;))

Here is another shot of the tower. I drove by there around 11:30am but it wasn't any workers there. I'm still curious as to who's tower it is.
