What's sad is that apparently State Farm dropped a bunch of people's policies before this because they no longer want to cover homes in CA.

Also the City of LA made a $17.5 million budget cut to the fire department.

Also heard on CNN this morning they are starting to expect arson.

Did you see the video of kids throwing gas on the fire, I'm pretty sure almost a 100% it was arson.

It's not just State Farm. Lots of home insurers have fled the state. We were bundled with Nationwide and they sent us a notice of nonrenewal on the home, but were happy to keep our auto business. We had to look pretty hard to find a new homeowner's policy...and we are not even in a special fire district.
