Yeah, that wood and ceramic and the like was about a month ago. Not your fault, treb. DroidLife just tried to put it out there like the news just came out. **apparently other sites are running this old rumor story as new**

It seems the phone won't be sitting flat on a table when face up, looks like the back is rounded where the camera is. How are we going to sit our beer glasses on them while at the bar? :D

OK, I'm not into the parsing hints from pics, but that 4G icon looks AT&Tish to me. I'm not positive as I have VZW which does a sublte 3g/4G over the signal bar.
 
I don't need an additional icon to tell me I'm on 4G:banghead:

what's wrong with what I have now.

That's the AOSP icon. It's the same when my Nexus 4 shows when I have LTE. IIRC, Verizon has the "LTE" goings vertically down the right side, where as AT&T has the LTE going horizontally across the top.
 
Well, all the info is right there. I don't need a gaudy icon cluttering up my screen.:mad:

I wonder if that huge obnoxious Motorola "M" can be ordered ABSENT... can't stand it! Put the logo on the back, Moto. I don't need to be reminded who made my phone :mad:

From everything I've read they say the M is present in all their test phones. So it shouldn't be there on the final unit.
 
You just made me realize Chief that those logos are probably there for when people are in the store and maybe also like dealer license plate frames. Advertising for anyone liking what you're rocking.

I want a new phone more than i need one. My launch day gnex has been good to me. But im really looking forward to a great camera and great batty life. And unlocked boot loader so devs can be creative with ROm. I jus hope the performance/specs aren't too "mid grade" that it won't last me 2 happy contract years.

If not... Than its either the next moto " flagship" or the nexus 5.
