Well, our rights are just that and if you want to live here, you must either simply accept the law or find another place to live. We do not force you to live here; you have free will and you can go where you prefer.
Utah at least follows the Constitution. They seem to be thinking that the right to keep and bear arms means what it says and there are no conditions attached in the founding documents.
If you think guns should be banned, well, fine. Go for it. Change the Constitution/Bill of Rights and enjoy your nice, gun free life. Come here, become a resident and change the law if it is passed.
It will perhaps be a better place until those that ignore the laws decide to put a gun in your face and takes your crap. Or some bad guy enters your house and you cannot defend your family. No counting on the police because they are either too far away or they decide not to help. Cops are under no requirement to help you. No laws say they must. But you do not believe this, so Google is your pal.
You likely do not know who around you is packing. They do not usually tell you. If you think people carrying concealed are a threat, what about those with permits that have gone unnoticed? Are you concerned about those people?
And you assume Utah will be the Wild West; that everyone packing represents some danger? And you did not think you would be wrong today, I'll bet.
