Root [THEME] Honeycomb Hybrid 3.0 No CIQ (Updated 10.19.11)

Ok, with both bloods and now blues no ciq themes have no problems with installation but when either are installed around 70mb's of data is moved from the ext to internal memory and I get low memory warnings...any clue why that is. I am back on regular honeycomb theme now and works fine

I honestly don't know what else I can say. You seem to be the only one reporting issues.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I seem to be out of ideas for the moment...

nah dude no inconvenience at all, i already said your original work was quite spiffy, and i was even a little bit hesitant to request adding extra stuff (but you know how greedy we get), so it was just bonus material anyway, i still think the original lite version is top notch, and if i get bored i'll try to figure out why my particular setup doesn't jibe with the loaded version, it's possible that i installed something wrong (or installed something else that doesn't like it) or that other people who will have the same problem haven't provided any feedback yet, either way i'm patient

just wanted to let you know

keep up the good work

i'll let you know what works and what doesn't

*switching back to lite version and will report on that for a while

Blue , thanks again for all your work here . Switched to the no CIQ a couple days ago and have been running smooth . For sure my new top theme :D

I have been informed by bloodawn that I left something out of the NO CIQ version. Sorry I will update asap.

I absolutely love this theme. Best one I have come across so far. I have a couple questions though. Where/how did you get the bee wallpaper because it didn't flash over with the theme and how did you get the stock dock thing back on the home screen? I followed all of the steps but I still have the go launcher ex dock at the bottom of the screen that came with shabbymod.

Thanks, but the wallpaper should have flashed too.

Anyway here it is http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/8372/defaultwallpaper.jpg

And the dock is not stock. It's called ADW launcher and there is a free version in the market

The picture is not go launcher (which came with shabby mod)... That is the stock launcher I believe (or adw???) So you would need to find the apk for the original android launcher...

For those running the No CIQ version it has been updated.

Updated NO CIQ Version to Honeycomb_Hybrid_RC_2_NoCIQ3.1

Why?

Bloodawn pointed out to me that when integrating his No CIQ MOD. I forgot to add some key elements.

That has now been fixed in RC2.

Enjoy

sorry blue, i think i got stuff backwards, i thought your "nociq" version was your original version (in other words "without blood's ciq remover mod") and was calling that the lite version

but it seems you mean that "nociq" means WITH blood's ciq remover installed, correct?

if so then i'm actually a little bit more confused now, because here is a little recap of reccent events

1. recently odinned + shabby, etc... and even did the full rounds of all the themes

2. installed your original honeycomb, before you had a ciq choice, everything installed fine and this is when i noticed a slight increase in standard performance, no FC's no auto-reboots, etc..

3. then i thought i was installing your new combined theme because i wanted to test the CIQ remover, so i installed plain honeycomb rc 1, which is your original one after all? and that's when i got the FC's, lagging and autoreboots, which is why i'm very confused at this point

4. and to make it even more interesting i thought i was reverting back to the original by installing nociq rc 1, which i now think is the theme WITH blood's ciq remover and it seems to be back to normal. which really is weird

because it seems that installing the original twice in a row was what caused the bugs??

sorry for the confusion, maybe it would be best to just disregard my last 2-3 posts,

but just so i'm clear, the "nociq" version IS the one WITH blood's CIQ remover mod, right?

nociq RC 2 installed smoothly and so far no jitters or hiccups

*keeping fingers crossed*

update:

after 1/2 day of using it there doesn't seem to be any problems yet, and it seems to have about 85-95% of the original "zippyness"

and connection speeds seem good (i don't know if this pack changed anything)

I am starting to get some force closures in the background... Ima try rc2 and let you know if they continue...

What version was giving you force close pop ups?

i think he said background FC's and if they were like mine there aren't any pop up windows, just the FC vibrations (one buzz shortly followed by 2-3 more) while doing other stuff

the first no ciq version

did you get any auto-reboots? (by the system)

if so that would be what mine was doing, though i don't remember what version i using at the time :( i got confused

maybe it was nociq RC 1??

I am only having reboots while tethering... could be a combination of this and KoumaKernel 0.1 beta

i got em, while using dropbox or checking my email, etc..

usually there would be 4-6 FC's (background) spread out over 30 mins to an hour then shortly after the phone would just reboot (without warning)

but nociq RC 2 doesn't seem be suffering from any of those side effects, just remember to wipe dalvik and cache part. before you flash and it should work out ok

i haven't had to factory reset yet *knock on wood*
