Root [THEME] MS910 LD-ICSK v2.4 {ZVD} [ICS Hybrid]

Anybody find a fix for the stock browser? Personally, I'm in the same boat as epayne. I prefer the stock browser over any I've seen on the market.

EDIT: It seems you forgot to theme the recovery and reboot options in the power menu lol
Still looks good, I'd like to see where it goes.

My favorite browser is definitely the Stock Web Browser(don't flame me because i dont care what y'all think) and if I find a fix then I will be posting it but if nothing gets posted then nothing gets fixed by me.

o crap, no thats totaly my fault lol sorry i was messing with different browsers because i hate the metro browser lol but i forgot to fix it... i had it working on a previous test but then got carried away with something else and totally spaced lol

as for the rom tweaks and a flashable theme...? it is possible... but will require some work lol but ill work on it :D i didn't tweak the rom itself to any point... everything is the way it should be as if it were gingersteem extreme, i only replaced some apk's with what he had so the biggest issues would be the apps...

but it is possible :D

and yeah the whole reason for this is basically to hold us over till cm9 lol its not really meant to be a perm rom... just a lil project

that depends... if you want to? lol does it have anything on it worth making? ill use it if it does lol... this was kinda just a slap together... but if you are actually working on a nice theme/port than i'd say do it up!! variety is never bad...

yeah still a work in progress lol but thanks!!! i only ask for credit on the theming, all else goes to PG and MT

yes actually!!! lol but the way the theme for orig rom was made i literally have to make like 100 versions of the battery.png (because im not a good coder) lol

the list is....
fix battery
fix most ui issues
add hdmi kernel
bookmarks
and there's more but im off to work lol be back tonight!!

And if a quick obvious visual fix, passover the Browser.apk also. Not too worried about it but it'd be nice.

for the new hdmi fixed kernel u can just rip the boot.img and lib/modules from the GSE 1.5. ;)

Just loaded it, looks nice n should look even better with your upcoming fixes.

@Kane, I like to see yours finished too, it almost looks just like ICS lol
 
alarm clock also FC, also in landscape mode the Audio, Wifi ect.. icons are back to looking like the default stock look and not ics.
 
Can anyone confirm whether I can just flash this over the current rom? I really don't want to have to reinstall all my apps and re-do my settings.

If I have to, what's a quick way to do this? (faster than titanium backup, which requires a ton of steps)?

He said to wipe. I was in the same boat. But got titanium back up and was good to go. it'll back up everything. apps+data. just gotta reinstall and you should be good to go

Yes, I also am having FC. There is no fix yet... we are awaiting a fix if it is a quick one. If it is not, I would be alright with using Dolphin until CM9. I appreciate the work that has gone into this so far and even though Stock Browser is my favorite internet browser, I am happy with what I have gotten especially since it's only until we get CM9. AMAZING JOB!

You need to purchase titanium backup pro from the market. You can backup all of your apps and their data and restore them very easily like nothing every happened.
 
Pro isn't necessary, but I think it allows for batch backups and restores, saving time. You can backup and restore with the free version but only 1 at a time

Also, tip for those who like to keep their messages (like me) I haven't figured out if TiBu can b/r SMS, but in all the time I've used it I haven't seen that option. Go SMS pro allows you to backup your texts to restore to another ROM.
