Root [Theme] Quicksilver - Operators are standing by!

My little gift back to the community, the Quicksilver theme for BACKside, Mate5, Quattrimus, Bumblebee, Cold as Ice, or the CM7 Theme Chooser. If requested, I will consider porting Quicksilver to any rom, as long as time permits.

QS has been updated for BACKside 00502 and Quattrimus Alpha 7, Bumblebee, and Cold as Ice Alpha9d.

Here are the screen shots (from the BACKside version).

To create this look, I used the icons from this ADW theme, Fancy Widgets with the Fancy Shadow skin by NYkrinDC. The wallpaper is Black Steel, and can be found here.

To get the best results for the status bar, make sure you have the status bar set to "theme" (for apk) or ROM (for zip) in >menu-settings-Cyanogenmod Settings-Interface-Status Bar Tweaks.

Note - Apk themes do not support bootanimations.

Theme looks great except the font ends up being so small. I've been spoiled since I typically use djbogan's theme that has the ics font
 
Actually, thank you! I really like the ICS font (roboto, btw) it's much more readable. It's now officially part of Quicksilver.
 
Nobody has noticed (or said anything) but there is a (very) slight easter egg in there. Here's a hint. It's from a kids movie.
 
this looks great, but i flashed it and the icons didn't change from the BACKside defaults. what did i do wrong? :( ff

Icons don't change from the uotkitchen flashable themes. You have to download icon theme packs from the market.
 
Anyone else having issues with Quicksilver and the new 01202012 Backside ROM?

The 0110 Theme and the 0110 ROM work just fine together for me, but if I update to the new ROM, my phone boots for a while and then freezes on the boot animation. If I let it sit for a while I occasionally feel a vibration - so i'm guessing something is FC'ing and I'm not able to see the screen to dismiss it.

Anyone else?
 
There ya go! Freshly updated. My themes are taking longer to update these days, my son is two weeks old today and takes a lot of my time.

It's all good :) the problem is mostly my ignorance of how themes/roms interact. Also, Jerry has been putting out bugfixes after each update lately, so I understand why you might not jump to cook up the theme. Oh... and the 2 week old deserves some attention too :)

I absolutely love this theme, Im mad I didn't check this out earlier. the boot animation is AWESOME. perfect keyboard free from the market works flawless with BACKside rom (and has very similar colors to theme) thanks brotherswing!!! will definitely be keeping this theme.
