Root [TWRP] [MS323, D320n, D325] Team Win Recovery Pro 3.0

I found it in /data/data/com.buak.link2sd/files. I presume it mounts after boot, I did a boot logcat and couldn't find anything related to mount sdext2. Also, I know on cyanogen that it tries to mount sd-ext automatically so link2sd conflicts. Could be the same on paranoid. There's a fix if you Google it.

Thanks for the fast reply. I checked the script file, seemed to be right. Dont know why it didn't mount. If it isn't at boot when it gets executed? Also how do I view the logcat at boot time? Anyway I installed the latest link2sd version and now it works fine. I'm gettind started with android and want to lern everithing about it, so any comments help me a lot. Please excuse my poor english.

Installation

FASTBOOT USERS:

Download the recovery.img to your computer and open up terminal or command prompt and cd to the directory where the recovery.img is.

Example:
Windows
Code:
cd Downloads
Linux
Code:
cd ~/Downloads
Now that you are in the recovery.img's directory, boot into fastboot mode by powering off the device, from power off, plug in your usb, power on the device, as soon as it starts to boot, release the power button and hold volume up until in fastboot mode.

Now in terminal or command prompt, type:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Reboot
Code:
fastboot reboot
Once booted, go download this awesome app to make rebooting to recovery easy, HERE

FOR THOSE WITH A RESTORED LAF PARTITION:

Place the recovery.img in the root of your internal sd card.

Open up command prompt or terminal and type:
Code:
adb shell
Code:
su
Now it is time to overwrite your stock recovery with cwm, type:
Code:
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery
That's it, download this awesome app to reboot to recovery HERE

To boot to recovery power off device, power on the device, and wait until it gets to the dim LG logo and try to interrupt the long vibration by pressing volume down a few times, if done correctly, your phone will stop the first boot and start another one that boots you to recovery. Timing is key so it might take a few tries

MS323 USERS ONLY:

No need to replace our laf.img!!! Thanks to @DevMyAndroid (who shared this with me), he noticed that if you press power + vol down until you reach the lg logo, release, and then hold same buttons again it will bring up a factory reset screen. If you select "yes", it will take you straight into twrp. With NO data loss.

Theming

One of the wonderful features of TWRP is that you can totally theme it! There are links all over. My personal favorite and the one that I use is a material theme! Here's a look of TWRP with a theme:

You can even check out TWRP Theme Manager an app on Google Play Store. :)

Before you go and try to thank me.
ALL CREDIT GOES TO THE MAGICAL @vm03

vm03 totally told me to create and maintain a thread for his TWRP and I was glad to oblige. :) Thank you vm.

bro, i have lg l70 d325 , firmware 4.4.2, after restart , often hang in LG logo.. sometimes can pass in, but mostly hang in logo..
i have install firmware online using lg support mobile tool, after success, can pass in the logo, but after 2 week, back to hang in logo after restart..
so i want install to firmware 5.1.
i see in the many forum, must using twrp.. but before that, must root the LG..
this root is difficult, i didn't not understand in using adb.exe.. do u have other way to make the root?
thx..

Somthing went wrong here for me.
I unlocked the bootloader using this guide and when I enter "fastboot oem device-info" shows:
Code:
(bootloader) Device tampered: false
(bootloader) Device unlocked: true
(bootloader) Charger screen enabled: false
OKAY [ 0.010s]
finished. total time: 0.015s
even flashing the twrp-2.8.7.0-20150821-w5.img gives me no error and goes as planned.but when i try to ener twrp i'm stoped by this message:
Code:
secure booting error!!
cause: boot certification verify
EDIT:I even tried flashing patched aboot.bin provided here, but still no luck. Suppose that's because the aboot.bin is for 10c version, i'm on 10d version.

i flashed twrp with flashify, it worked, adb reboot recovery, it takes me to twrp, but it doesnt let me flash cm12 or 12.1, it says it failed then redirects me to boot back to whatever rom i have installed. the problem is i need twrp for the home button and all buttons to work in their allocated functions, i can use cwm for cm11 and it works, but if i use cwm for cm12, the back button is back, the options/3 lines button is home, and the physical home button does absolutely nothing

I flashed TWRP on my LG L70 D320 with ADB and fastboot.
When I use adb reboot recovery, it enters a purple screen, and it enters the ram dump mode, I think.
I want to install the CM13, but I can't get the TWRP on my cellphone...what should I do?

You need to flash the correct aboot.bin for your handset: androidforums.com/threads/dump-all-variants-aboot-files-and-how-to-flash.918174/#post-6964977
