If this rom is no longer going to recive nightleys, can i upgrade to cm13 without loseing my data and apps. Also i use link2SD so will it behave in the upgrade and on new rom? Also any special requirements like partitioning?

Can anyone explain this to me? I'm about to get my hands on an L70 D325(a friend's request) and I told him there's a stable cm 12.1 for this device. I've flashed custom roms before but i've never had to pay attention to the bootloader(after the unlock process is complete). I just need an explanation what's this all about. I'm familiar with the rest - rooting, unlocking, flashing recovery, flashing rom/gapps, etc. .

Answer to your question is that you need to flash aboot.bin for your phone so you dont get errors when you try custom recovery etc, its in guide also, follow vids and good luck.

I understood the part about needing to flash the proper aboot for the device(in this case D325), but what I'm not sure about is when I must flash it. I found a thread where a user has posted stock aboot for D325. So... I guess I'll have to boot into twrp and flash that aboot.zip before flashing any rom, right?
Sorry about these rediculously dumb questions, but as I said, I've never had to flash the actual bootloader before, just unlock it. ^^

aboot.bin flashes through fastboot (cmd on pc) here is the link http://androidforums.com/threads/dump-all-variants-aboot-files-and-how-to-flash.918174/. get your aboot.bin from here and follow provided guide to flash it. aboot.bin flashes after installing twrp, because you will be unavalible to use it without flashing aboot.bin, you will get purple screen. so in this order :-follow videos 1,2,3,4 until u succefuly flash twrp
-follow video on how to flash aboot.bin
-install custom rom

I forgot to ask, since the device is currently running 4.4.2 KK, will it need repartitioning before I attempt to flash CM 12.1?

No need to repartition, just install like any other rom
Why not just use CM13?

I have d325f .. I have cwm recovery is it okay .. I have not installed rom .. how to know whether I have correct aboot.img or not .. I'm new to these things .. please help .. what are the things still not working ..??

I know this question has already become a repeated much and gets to be even a little boring.
But does anyone know if the camera bug in L70D325F8 was solved ?
[NOTA] Recently I installed the Custom Rom " CM 13 Official " , but the same is quite bugs , is not unstable enough. I was having problems with recording audio volume , then had to go back to stock rom 4.4.4 because it was bothering me. And there's the question of the camera CM 13 is not 100 % , with spots that certainly does not have the lens.

My also sd card don't mount....I used sd card as internal storage patch. Where is the download from the latest version from W5? On vasy site is just 19.12.2015 the latest version available.
