Root Unroot HELP NOT WORKING :(

So the first time I installed the rom and then gapps and it didnt work. Second I rebootes inro recovery wipe everything reinstalled rom set up gmail then the app said no longer installed ran the apk and now it seems to be working just fine.

Nice then :) I wonder if it had something to do with trying to flash gapps on the first rom flash but......all is good now?

That could be why and only thing am I always goibg to have to run the apk to use the play store cuz that message POP up again saying it was no longer on the system

Once installed, it should stay installed...no need to reinstall the apk.
Right now is it, or is it not in your applications drawer?:confused:

yeah its weird how it works like that with mikg3.11. i just wanted to say congrats on flashing a new rom!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya i think I will stay with the sence roms for now till I decide on the GA3 or the note 2. Question what is some advice on overclocking and is there anything to increase battery life

yes, you can try kernels

no there are different ways to flash amon ra. the guide i linked you to earlier will show you how to switch recoveries.

for the og evo, having an unlocked bootloader and root permission (via superuser which you can flash by itself or flash a rom), you can do anything an s-off phone can do. i would not have mentioned it if this were not the case. so do not worry if you have s-on still.

you guys are lucky. other phones like the evo lte even though you have the phone unlocked you have to fastboot command the boot.img which is where the kernel is at separately from flashing the rom. way more of a pain to do.
