yeah i moved the tibu.apk to my sdcard so i dont have to get to the market to get it going...thats my "shortcut" i suppose :)
 
Couple of comments and questions. I seem to be having an issue with charging so make sure when you are plugged in your battery isn't still draining. A couple of calls I've made the reception was kind of low and sometimes the other person couldn't hear me. As for the latter I'm thinking maybe dl09 radio might work better since it seems like it was stronger when I was on kaosinate. I'm using dj05 radio now could I just flash dl09 radio in odin or would I have to flash the whole thing first? Can you flash a radio in CWR? All the issues I'm having have been mentioned on xda including the browser crashes so it probably won't be long before it is addressed. Even still as a gadget head I am loving these roms. I love CM looks and extras and the vanilla runs so smooth plus the headphones and recovery work. I feel like a flash expert at this point and I'm even getting a little adb work in pushing and pulling files. I'm falling in love with my fascinate over again.

PS One more question. Would you guys recommend task killers for these roms since the task mangers aren't working atm?

Radio flashes are always done in odin and you can do just the radio yes. You dont need a task killer whatsoever. Closest thing I have is something called System Panel which is more of a monitoring app but if need be necessary you can kill tasks but I dont use it for that

So I am assuming that means nothing new is working yet? So still no camera, bluetooth, etc?

Well yes and no. If you tried v1 there was issues with the phone ringing and call volume being loud enough and the caller id. Now all those aspects are 100% ok. But yes no new hardware features are working. Its mostly bells and whistles like batt% and the reboot button which I know you can just theme on as well. Still fixing the call issue was a big plus.

Yea, I definitely don't doubt that the progress that was made was significant. I am just holding off until a little more of the hardware is working properly.
 
I'm giving Froyo a month to evolve with these roms if we don't already have it by then (which we should OTA). Phone's perfect right now at 2.1.1 but I want that yogurt!

Please tell me jt added an option to remove batt percentage in spare part? Its a real theme killer if not as that will overlay ontop of any themed batteries and i don't know the script to remove it, :(

its not as popular as it once was...but theres at least 70 people logged in right now...still irc will never be as good as it was pre-dj05 :(

Yeah there is always peeps in there. If you were in there at like 4-8am it can be kinda dead but try it again. Like nitsuj17 said below theres always dozens logged in.

1. according to some in irc it is...so until i test ill stay positive :)

2. yeah even dead times theres usually like 80 or so logged in...i dont stay logged in 24/7 anymore because im starting to dislike irc to a certain extent....well certain things about it at least

3. yup, 40-50 people tops and all of them *on the level* in my opinion :o

3. Oddly now in droid life there is a dedicated page for dev but no one ever says anything in it. And the main page is as much as OT as on topic even though there is no a completely OT page :rolleyes:. Still I keep it open on my PC and periodically check it since ya never know when the next update is coming

same here...i guess i just take issue with certain people having operator status in there, that frankly dont have any business doing so...but thats neither here nor there so...ill leave it at that :o

I think I know what you are and arent saying ;)
It is what it is I guess. I dont chat much in there myself. Its a resource more than anything. If I do chat its mostly via PM anyway
