New user of the Ally (but not the community as a whole... used to be the Wife's phone). Flashed Velocity 1.0 straight out of the gate, and loving the crap out of this Rom!
On to the topic.
When I changed the Splash screen and rebooted, I was dismayed to find the following happen:
Initial boot sequence:
[Power button]
Desired splash screen comes up... but cut in half?
I can't describe it.. Here's a Pic... Yes it's blurry as crap...
As you can see, the picture is....halved and backwards? or just pushed off the side of a wrapped screen?
I'm clueless.
Afterwards, the grey Velocity spash screen comes up, perfectly normal...And then the Boot animation, also perfectly normal.
I don't know if I should be looking at some logs to give more info... or what...
I've wiped Cache, reverted to a Nandroid before I made any changes to the Rom (Odex, Dalvik to SD, Overclock, Boot Animation, splash screen, Apps... etc...) and still no change in this splash screen oddity...
I'm going to back everything up and flash back to Rooted Froyo (oh yes, all my bases are covered) to see if this makes a difference.
Am I missing something?
Thanks...
