Known issue. All I did was port the old velocity 1.0 theme to 1.1 Therefore, live battery is not yet implemented. Stay tuned for an updated gingercolor series, though. =))
 
What is the clock widget/app used in the screen cap for Elegant Gingerbread? I'm in love, and I can't seem to find it anywhere!

do you mean individual app icons?? or the system and notification icons?

using the velocitymorph template you can change any or all of the individual icons. you will have to change the apk for the app itself. just have to crate a zip with the same name as the apk system or not. and inside have a res folder and inside that a drawable or drawable-hdpi. check the link for the exact info. i have been messing with it and have noticed the icons aren't always in the same place (or im missing them). im gonna be working on changing a bunch of mine today since finals are OVER! and i got some time.


** and i tried to dl the boot animation and the link didnt work.

Hey guys,

I apologize if this information was given already, but how do I go about installing that cool looking boot animation from the beginning of this thread, with the android logo behind that colored orb?

I downloaded the VelocityORB-signed.zip file, but am not sure what to do with it. I tried flashing it in recovery, but it gave me an error saying "can not find script. Install aborted." I'm guessing you have to do it some other way, like through the Terminal Emulator. Can someone please tell me how? Thanks so much

This is the Version with Green green highlight on the Notification window, and green glow.

If you want the one with the white glow, I can upload that when I get home.

the green glow glass one looked very different from the picture but i liked it. and the clean glass one seemed to add animations to the menus which is sick. thanks

Never mind. I figured it out. :P I just renamed the Velocity ORB file to bootanimation.zip and copied it to the data/local folder of my phone, and it worked. Looks awesome! Thanks :D
 
Attempted flashing the boot animation in the OP. Failed w/ both clockwork and ra. Am I missing something on how to properly flash it? I would do it manually but the link to the manual install download is broken

I was able to flash w/ amonra but had to turn sig verification off. try that. if it doesnt work you can unzip it and cope bootanimation.zip to /system/media/ manually. and on an unrelated note i would stay away from Clockwork and stick with amonra,
