Ping me if you need to, Scotty!

Gnex is a great phone...everything's pretty straight-forward though, you'll have no problems.

edit: congrats on your 4k post milestone! (I just noticed that :))

+10000 re. that ^^^ :D :D :D

Yeah, where the heck you been, Scotty?! :p ;) :)

(glad you've joined the GNex crew :))

Cheers!

oh snap! ya beat me scary :D ive been mostly on the inc and merge forums  also spent lots of time unlocking things with me xtc clip and then htcdev unlocking. i have a vast collection of phones i cant use now, maybe i should start sellin em to pay for this gnex ;)

i feel a lil guilty with a non-htc device, lol but its defaintely good to be in the same forum with ya

Maybe you missed my question in another thread yeahha, but how do you like the 180 exp? I'd been running 230 but just flashed the 180 exp 4 cause I saw you were running it. Any thoughts or observations vs 230?

Sorry but yeah I missed it. I've never had issues with the 180 so I haven't tried 230. I don't notice any lag or instability ever so I don't see a need to try a higher slot ;)

Yeah dog, awesome. Looks like we're getting the last stragglers back. TB, OG, DI, Eris users are (almost) all here and accounted for.

Yeahha, I tried the 180 today and wasn't totally thrilled, not sure why. Batt started draining more rapidly for me but that could be any number of things. I went back to the 230 just a little while ago. Prob not a big diff either way in terms of performance or batt. But thanks.

I have the same issue with IMO's 180 kernel. I think yeahha just got lucky and his phone is tolerant of low speeds.

Scotty!! Welcome to the best forums around!! I fear the Thunderbolt forums will really be dead now after all of us left! :(

Is it bad that I literally owned everyone one of those devices you named? :$
If owning them was wrong, I don't wanna be right. Same here, except the OG. Weird thing is I still have all of them. Never sold them, I still put them on wifi. I have Pandora in every room of the house.

+1 / LOL!

I was doing app development and testing last night (AFV update coming out hopefully tonight!) and I was testing on my HTC Eris (2.1), Moto Droid X (2.3), Samsung GNex (4.0.2), Moto Xoom (3.2 and then 4.x), and my son's Moto D2G (2.3).

Not gonna be selling any of my devices anytime soon ;) :).

I don't think it should make a big difference either way and this...

Could be...not all phones are created equal...My TB couldn't clock above 1.42 while others could clock up to 1.92

I try to go there every now and then but a new crew has stepped up and for rom specific issues it can be difficult to give help sometimes.

So much for not wanting to get a non HTC phone ;)

I saw good riddance to them and a hearty welcome to you, sir.

It's starting to look the TB forum around here

After the troubles with the TB I am not really suprised most of us didn't jump to the Rezound. I can only think of 1 or 2 people who did.

Most of us are here lol.

lol,i still love htc. i didnt have much trouble with my TB that i didnt inflict upon myself. id still take a rezound if i found one cheap enuff. i was actually searching for either and the gnex popped up first for a price i couldnt pass up.

im not 100% sold on it yet,i still am not fond of not having an sd card. i also am pretty bummed out it takes a "micro sim" so i cant switch freely between it and the TB  i was really hopin i could change back and forth between them with a swap of the sim.

main thing was that i didnt want to use an upgrade on the either the rezound or the gnex, and i havent,so i think being googles phone and getting immediate updates to the latest/greatest OS will eventually over-ride the no-SD thing. :D
