I dont believe that. I think at latest they'll ship on Monday. I'm betting mine will ship on Saturday since I ordered on the 14th.
Been there TRIED that OVER 20 times already. ALWAYS gives me this message:
"Due to high volumes, we are unable to update your payment details at this time. Please try again later."
It allows me to enter all the card information but I get that same message once I submit. Very frustrating to say the least.
Really? The same thing happened to me but with USAA bank. I called, gave them a new credit card. At first the Rep said I wouldn't be able to keep unlimited, but then he said nope, since I pre-ordered he was wrong and I can keep it
edit - This happened on Tuesday. Once people started getting shipment notifications, I got the "your older is on hold" email that you probably got too. I called around 5pm est that night.

I've really enjoyed reading the 10 pages y'all have created here today. Took me about 30 minutes, plus 2 to watch the unboxing video on page 80. The people expecting their phones today have definitely been for frantic ("Dang FedEx, dang Verizon, dang Samsung!") than those of us who still have no information.
On that note, my CC was charged and authorized at 12:26:11 PM EDT today. My status has changed from it's perpetual "We received your order and it is in process" to "Your order has been sent for processing". I still do not have an email from Verizon, but it looks on track for tonight maybe, hopefully, possibly, Gods of Tech willing!
BTW - I didn't have to deliver any SIIIs today. I only had one Verizon shipment on my route and it was VERY light. Had to be a case or USB cord.

Just got my shipment notification!
Shipping from Memphis, which is weird because I'm in Pennsylvania so I don't know why it didn't ship out of their facility here, but it's scheduled for overnight delivery so I should have it tomorrow.
Since I'm having it shipped to my workplace I'll have to let the guys in shipping know that I've got a package coming in and they can call me once it gets there.
Looking forward to having the weekend get it all set up the way I like.

Well I just got my shipment email from Verizon. Shipping tonight, Standard Overnight service. It will be in my hands by 8AM!!!! But I won't get to open it till 3:30PM, after my route.

Looks like my TN theory is true. Chief is in the same boat we are, but at least we are making progress w/ charged credit cards.

sorry if this has been brought up on previous pages, but just to be certain.. you do HAVE to sign for this package from FedEx correct? They wont just drop it off even if your in a quote on quote "safe neighborhood".... Im at my office pretty much all day everyday and this is going to potentially be an issue for me.
on a side note has anyone actually gone directly to a fedex facility and picked a package up there? can you do that?

So yall both have charged card? If so great. Looks like it was about 5 hours between CC charge and my email, so keep checking.
You can leave a signed and dated note asking to leave the shipment. Leave it where they will see it and so that they can take with them (not inside a window or locked storm door).
Once they get everything working I'll be all over Jelly Bean! Google Now looks WAY more impressive than S Voice!

Just don't try to install one of the international ROMs like some on other US networks have done and turn your shiny new S3 into a brick...

You have a tracking number? And it shipped on the third? How did you order (Website, phone, in store, or somewhere else)? Also, what day did you order? Also, do you live in an extramly rural area?
The reason I get a hold of mine by 8AM is because I'm a FedEx courier, and I just gotta get the courier that delivers to my home to pull it and bring it to me in the morning. But immediately after that I have to run MY route till 2:30PM or so. Cough, cough... gotta leave early boss!
Cough cough nothing...heat exhaustion sounds more legit.
