Verizon Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

I am paying full price, so Best Buy. They usually are a day ahead of corporate stores.....


Looks like the way they are handling this is a cluster fudge. 32gb are online only? Is this a supply issue?

I wonder now if my Best Buy 32gb order will be next week.....

Why does Sprint have no issue? Only got a few hundred orders? ;)
 
I agree that I will be very upset if people can get the S3 in stores on July 10th and mine is being shipped to me that day...

Pre-orders first, then in-store pickups! Cmon now!! :(

So, based on the Incredible 4G, we know that "in the coming weeks" means 2 months.
 
The only comfort of getting my phone after the 10th is that I'll retain my unlimited data, and I couldn't get a 32GB model in store anyways.
 
Great news to hear they finally set their release date... now I want to know.. are they doing the overnight shipping for the pre orders that ordered on 6/6/2012... or will we have it on the tuesday after? Since I work on both days right now.. debating if I should request a day off so I have all day to play with the new phone. lol

Playing ANY/multiple game/s for longer than 8hrs in one sitting.

Calling in sick on launch day is also an immediate "Geek Card" This is known as fast tracking :)

I thought it was free overnight too, but all the shipping info on VZW says items are shipped w/ free 2 day shipping & signature is required. So if shipped on Monday you receive on Wednesday.

DAHHHHH.... so I'll get mine Thursday?

Maybe it was wishful seeing, but I could have SWORN on the pre-order page it showed Next Day as my shipping option.

Hopefully...
It'll be bonkers if in-store buyers get it before pre-orderers.

Everyone is forgetting the "ships by" they could ship anytime before the 9th.
 
I will be a little mad if I dont get it before the in-store people, but I got mine shipped to the store. As long as I get to keep Unlimited and everything I am happy...

I'm hoping we get a little notice, the phones are shipped with delivery signature required. I need to know which day to miss work for. I'm sure it will all work out in the end
