[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

I installed 19 as well as newest leankernel, but when I went into the Maps application it wouldn't find any GPS signal. GPS settings had it on.

So I restored back to my stock backup and GPS is working.

Any suggestions? Should I just try re-flashing the kernel?

1st gps location can typically take some time. After then, it locks on in about 5-10 sec. Well mine does. Run outside and see if you can get a lock

Really loving all the lockscreen options. But, I wish that said app/whatever would actually have its icon and not the little horse. I hope they put that in with the new releases.

Yesterday on 19 with imo's 1.2.1 and jb's voltages I was at 35% after 8 hours of 4G on all day with an ~hour and a half of screen on time. :D

I love this ROM/kernel combo :D

~2 hours of screen time.

I have a lot of screen time and haven't found that perfect combo yet. Yesterday after a full charge I got about 4 hours before it was down to 40%. Granted, screen was 76% :o

I had this same problem last night over the course of a few hours.

Also, my voice search didn't work. But that came around! :)

Yeah the uni looks goofy for sure. I still use the ole fashioned lockscreen cam and unlock.

On 4G all day with 1

On 4G all day with 1½ hrs screen on and 8hrs still at 35% is really good imo. So you're content with your batt life now? I have some new results that I'll point to soon I've run it for 15 hrs so far and it is very impressive.

Yeah I think that's great compared to what I was getting!! Very satisfied :D

Anyone else think it would be cool if they added an option to have in the recent apps key to kill all apps? Like just one little x on the bottom like in the clear all notifications?

Its built in to AOKP. Settings> rom control> general UI> hold back to kill :D

Ahh ok. Yeah I'd never want that as "anything task killer'ish" are a big no-no in my book with AndroidOS. It handles things just fine imo.

Its just those times where I have sooooo many recent apps open takes way to much swiping to get em all away haha. Most of the time I enjoy having recent apps there, but sometimes that list is so long that it isn't very helpful anyways

Totally understand. I've had upwards of 20 in there and it's easier for me to just go to the app in my drawer to open it lol.

Exactly my point haha and then it basically becomes useless until you either clear them all or reboot. Sort of annoying IMO. Be much nicer if I could sort of just "reset" the recent apps as in clear them all lol

Another cool addition would be if they gave an app launcher option on the pattern lock. It could be like when you complete the pattern successfully before you let go of the last pattern circle, if you hold it there before releasing it apps would pop up around that circle and you could slide to whichever one you want to launch it or just let go in the center of it as normal to unlock the phone.

App launcher in the pattern lock. Not a bad idea really. Always worth a shot making suggestions to rom dev's most have a special "rom suggestion/bugfix" page where you can do just that

I'd post them both on the rootzwiki thread but I don't have an account and don't plan on making one haha

I've literally lost count of the accounts I've made on forums related to Android...and they all have different rules for how your password has to be composed, so I can't keep track of that either. I haven't had the patience yet to sit down with LastPass or something. So mostly I just stick to AF!

I decided I'd pick one forum and I picked AF, not subscribing to any others.
