[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

BB's I've had some weird anomalies happen in the last 15 minutes with 15.1. I'm flashing back to 13.1!

I'm getting some random "time w/o signal" issues and had a problem with a wallpaper folder go corrupt. Everything is backed up on my PC, but I haven't had this happen before.

Hmmmm. I'll watch for strange happenings. Thanks for the heads up

Oh yucky!! I am laggy backing out of anything and scrolling in tapatalk or emails causes type blur. Flashing back.

lol! Yeah we are the testers, but it's always good to try to see. Will stick with 13.1 for now and see what he has in store in the coming days :)

Fwiw, I'm having good luck with the supplied kernel. Although it appears to do better using ondemand. Default interactive profile seems to use more 700 MHz during downtime. Ondemand ramps down to 350 quickly. Need a few more days to get a better idea.

Do we have to guess what Kernel your on?

I'll probably go back to franco15. It was going well before I flashed to m3. Battery seemed OK and it was quick according to all the benches. And I didn't notice any real world lag.

I am going to try milestone 3ans hope it fixes my call problom ...of not I am going back to gummymex or code name android

I did a fresh install (wiped data, cache, dalvik, formatted system) and I'm having issues with the dialer. 90% of the time that I start to manually dial a phone number it freezes up when I enter the first or second digit and I have to go into app settings and stop contacts to get it to work again. I've tried clearing cache app data and dalvik but it has not helped at all. Any suggestions?

I thought I had this figured out but I'm still having this issue. :(

So I was having major gray reception and hand off issues. I Googled "Samsung Galaxy Nexus CDMA Radio Alternative." The first result took me to a thread on xda with a set of repackaged radios. Check it out for those of you having issues. This will hold me until official radios drop. I am using the first of the two zips. Flash in recovery. No wipe. Link in just a few. :)

I just flashed M3 over top of #21. I heard there is an option to separate the volume controls. Is that true?

sorry, found it. Tested and works.. sweet.

OK so jb remember that ROM with the remove boot animation I told you about? Well I just booted in to (not flashed ;) ) CNA and found that this was the ROM with it. Boot time was maybe 15-30 seconds. Think I may submit (another haha) feature request to Roman

Yes, for the most part, I keep them together too. But at night I have a timeriffic profile set to turn off the notifications and put the ringer at about 10%. This way I can get calls from the kids if needed and email doesn't bother me. I also got a call blocker app that blocks all unknown calls and the dumbass that is determined to send me a fax at 4am or whenever.

Aha. So there is just a black screen? Wild! I've never tested the boot time of AOKP until now....28 seconds :D

EDIT: Link: [Radio Hybrids]*UPDATED*1/31/2012 Plus Fried radio halp!! - xda-developers

I have been running the 4.0.3 radios for a month and I like them. I live in a weak area and have noticed improvement in signal numbers and hand-off's. I'm keeping them.

I'm thinking of trying out AOKP, and had a couple of questions:

- do I need to wipe battery stats prior to install?
- if I do, does this mean I need to go through 1-2 full charge/discharge cycles to calibrate the battery?
- Are there any known showstopper bugs in AOKP (M3) for the LTE Nexus (toro)? Like a core functionality plain doesn't work or causes lockups, etc?
- What's the best power-optimized kernel to run with AOKP? Does anyone use SetCPU with it or just let the stock AOKP kernel do its thing?

Thanks!

Either lean kernel or Franco seems to be what most are using.
