Well, you could request it here, but you'd have to be a member.
AOKP Google site has been abandoned.
I would assume so.
The Google site has served its purpose and is no longer used.
Please find all the newest builds at the AOKP site.
People are still submitting requests on the google site, but the last one to be accepted was transparent nav/status bars, which was 2 days ago. Same day he posted this on the main page:
People are using the AOKP forum tracker to submit feature requests now. Same deal, you just have to be a member there. No biggie.
I'm on b23 too. I have batteryxl set to turn off my wifi and data when the screen is locked and on when its unlocked. Maybe that has something to do with it?
You have the LED issue no?I dirty flashed from 24 to 25 no issues whatsoever
Be careful what you pray forI'm praying so hard that AOKP gets ported to the Transformer Prime!
Might be time....Yessir I haven't done a data wipe since I've been on AOKP
At the bottom of the rootz thread it says Best way to help out or contact us is via IRC.Anyone know if and where I can submit a device request?
Argh.... got 25 installed, got google apps installed, got rom manager, VNC and BackTrack installed.... got a backup and when the Gnexus rebooted it went straight to an emergency dial screen and can't get out. Back to Revolution until I get more time to play with this maybe during the weekend. Keeping my eye on the thread as well.
Here is what I saw in my brief visit:
WiFi OK
3G OK
No 4g (I updated my radio and didn't downgrade it for this ROM yet)
Supposedly a 4G outage today (this morn).
Did you restore any TiBu data from any system/Goog apps by chance?
4G has been OK here in Tampa... and nope, did no TiBu restores. Noted the lack of 4G before installing anything (even google apps) Didn't have much time to mess with it because as soon as I did my backup I could not get it to boot back up properly but I did check network settings and confirm that LTE was on. I'll mess with it some more this weekend and keep my eyes peeled.
The GOOD thing was that BackTrack worked perfectly (although I didn't get a chance to see if we can do packet injection with our WiFi yet.)
Yes but the already existing ideas
So did you flash ROM then reboot before flashing Gapps? Correct flash order is flash ROM then immediately flash gapps afterwards THEN reboot. Maybe that is the issue?
I think I'm missing somethin here... I had the ROM and the gapps zip on the phone, when I flash a rom it just automatically boots upon completion... This is when I initially noticed that there was no 4G. Then I have to power + vol +/- to get into recovery and flash gapps.

It shouldn't be booting automatically unless you're doing it through Rom Manager. Then you might want to try doing it manually. More control that way. You shouldn't reboot before gapps is flashed.

Ok, when you are dirty flashing these, are you flashing GAPPS too?
I hate doing that cause I like the inverted GAPPS...and I have to re run all the zippees to get that...
Do I have to flash GAPPS everytime???
Here's what I do.
1. Wipe Cache Partition
2. Advanced-->Wipe Dalvik Cache
3. Mounts and Storage-->Format/System
4. Flash new build
5. Flash GApps
6. Flash inverted GApps
7. Flash any other zips before boot (kernel, boot animation, theme etc.)
8. Reboot
9. Check and confirm GApps are there and working and inverted
10. Check ROM version (just in case )

Both of you caught me being lazy! OK, this weekend I'll do it straight up and check it out. Thanks for the pointer!
I've read that it's not good to flash kernels directly after flashing a ROM. I'm not sure why exactly haha.
Anyway, I usually do steps 1-5, reboot, boot to recovery, flash my theme, flash Faux's reset kernel, flash my kernel of choice, then reboot. Money in the bank.
