[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

Nothing you do with any AOKP ROM will affect the radio/s. If you flashed the .4 radio then you'll remain on it until you either 1. reflash a different radio .zip or 2. happen to find a very rare ROM that flashes the radio (aokp never will do this)
 
Dirty wiped and flashed B31 & Gapps, then Lean Kernel 3.1.0 and all is well.
The animation reversion added more butter to my device experience.
I bluetooth paired and connected to a Blueant Q1 & Q2. The Q2 transferred my contacts no problem. Made test calls on both, good to go.
 
Yeah I must say this is by far the smoothest experience I've ever had on my GN to date, wow. Stock colonel :cool:

camera doesnt just snap the photo with that instapop, if thats a word lol. like on stock it snapped them as fast as i could tap the button, now it takes a second or two. nothing like driving down the highway and being able to snap a quick pic of some crazy **** while cruising doing 90, oh i mean 70 (speed limit) lmao
maybe im too ocd, idk but other than that im all mac and cheese baby...i think...

No you're correct we've lost that insta-pic it had on stock. I know this is in the lsit of things to improve, but who knows when it ever will get worked on. You can turn off shutter sound I'd never seen that before (on aokp at least) and I've always enjoyed snapping a pic incognito

I only experience lag when flash is on, which is how I remember it from stock. Someone should ask scary alien, since he is always using his Prime to go back to stock.
 
Problems here on B31. Dirty flashed and had a couple of issues so I then did a factory reset/wipe and have the same problems.

1.) Google Account Manager crashes
2.) Google Play Music will not make files available offline. Tells me to check my internet connection.

Problem solved. Didn't realize that every time I wiped and flashed and set up Google Music on my fresh install that it added an authorized device to my account. Had 10 devices due to that which was the max. Had to deauthorize older accounts and sign back in to Music and it started downloading the songs I wanted.
 
Dirty flash went ok, but I forgot to flash Gapps first, so I had to fix that one. A few things: I'm guessing custom lockscreen is still broken as I haven't tried it and no one has said otherwise.

Also, it took quite a while for my wifi symbol to go blue again. In fact, for me, it didn't happen until I flashed Lean Kernel 3.0 again.

Other things seem to be working well, though!

I am using a quad lock screen with app symbols...not custom icons, per se, but its working for me. The calendar lock screen stuff is still giving me issues so I have removed it for now.
Otherwise loving AOKP as usual....
However I am missing where the rotation time in ms is...can anyone tell me? I thought it was in ROM control....

And I did end up going back to lean kernal 3.0exp 230, and running the top end at 1650, because of the draw being too much when in deep sleep on the included kernal.

Lockscreen working perfectly here. Calender as well. I think the custom rotation delay has been removed for now?

I'm pretty impressed with the stock colonel, my battery life is happy, but I am on the .4 radios.
 
Dirty flashing didn't work for me for whatever reason. Screen movement was laggy and had the gray wifi and 4G symbols. Started over, wiped, reflashed and everything's great now. I have resetting the phone up down to a science now lol.
 
I have b29 and I think I'll wait for the next milestone. I just set everything up and don't feel like redoing it all if M5 drops soon.

I do notice that my lock screen time is no longer in the 24 hour format that I use on my phone . It's not a huge deal, but does anyone have any idea how to change the format of the lock screen time?

Settings Menu>>Date & Time should help you out there! I like 24 hour style, too for some reason..
