[Verizon] [ROM] AOKP JB-MR1 Milestone 2 [4.2.2] (07.21.13) TORO

Maybe. My phone was deep sleeping but eh. Ics battery life is better for me by far. Not sure why my phone is not liking jb. No matter though. Bought a GSM nexus and my straight talk sim should be here Monday.

You never give it enough time lol. From the outside looking in (I read here everyday just haven't had time to post) I've seen you change ROMS like the wind especially lately (you've actually always done this :p). On top of that you never stay on the ROM for more than a day. I'm not bustin' your chops, or maybe I am :D, but give the software a chance to run on your phone for more than 12 hours or you'll never like anything you run on your phone. I think you've given ICS the best chance and that is why you're always going back to it.

Pretty cool. I have 2 nandroids. Present setup and before rooting, never seen the need to have as many as some people do. That plus I'm anal/ocd/add like that and keep it clean

I have 0 :p I only make one before I do something I think is gonna bork it (and it usually pays off). I always keep one zip of a bootable ROM + Gapps on my phone though. Once I see an update works, delete the old, keep the new. Can't boot, boot recovery, wipe, and flash ROM right? :)

I have a Nandroid of when I first rooted it just after release. I flashed it the other day to have a look and got the OTA notice and got the heck outa there.

Our device doesn't have 4G while in a call natively. Not a bug; it isn't supposed to have it

Yes toro is supposed to have this feature and I was just checking because I was under the impression it was merged in this build
And stock it does it. Paranoid android it does it. I am really enjoying aokp jelly bean since I first started using aokp over a year ago, but I really enjoy having the data while in call

I know the commit is there. I linked it like 5 posts ago...however read through it a bit and it became obsolete due to a CM port that will be merged. I can't recall ever being on a ROM where I had data while in a call. If I'm mistaken, forgive me, but I was under the impression this was a new feature being introduced by custom ROMs

No one is mistaken. I just read the op and looked at the change log/gerrit merges and it is not implemented in this 8/5 build. No problem at all. Just glad it looks like it will be soon

Over in the Rootz AOKP thread adding the below line to the build prop in AOKP fixed the 4G and voice issue. Assume it would fix it in other Roms as well. Worth a shot.

ro.config.svlte1x=1

I copied and pasted this in the last line of my system/build.prop and it fixes the data drop issue!
Found it on xda and I did not come up with this.

Sweet thanks

Every thing is running great on the latest 8/5 any chance of adding an option to set any pic from gallery as generic caller id background?

Use a theme? I really don't know the answer.

Anyone else notice ROM control eating away battery? What's his name, is getting it fixed. Until then, just force close ROM control after boot and after adjusting anything on it. Has to do with the face down feature.

Thanks for the heads up, I had the same thing. ROM control eating battery at the same pace as the screen.

Anyone have an app drawer icon that's properly sized for the navbar? (To be used as a custom soft key image in ROM Control)

I'm on zerospeed's 8/7. I'll probably flash 8/8 tonight.
Is the ROM control still slaughtering the battery?
