Upgrading to 4.2. Restoring with TiBu. Seemed to have zero problems loading 4.0 prior.
Should I DO have problems, is it okay to restore apps through the Play Store and then restore app data through TiBu?

As long as you do only app data for things from Play and not system apps it should work
Just to be clear. I updated from Version 4.1. If this is your first time going to JB 4.2.1 you must do a clean install. If you don't I promise that you will have problems.

Did we lose the ability to wake the phone with the volume buttons in 4.2? I can't seem to find it.

Finally! I was able to install 4.2 by using ROM Manger. Thrilled to be back to Sourcery!

Had some issues with signing into Talk on a complete wipe from 4.0 to 4.2 using the Inversion Maximus gapps. Tried wiping everything from the app to no avail. Dirty flashed over with the Standard Gapps. No problems signing in now. Not sure if it's a bug or user error.

I'm disappointed I can't find it either. That's usually a deal-breaker for me.
Also, can't sync my exchange account so no contacts, no work email.
I wiped everything and flashed the 4.2 Maximus inverted apps.

i just MIGHT, MIGHT, switch to 4.2.1 now that sourcery has upped their game...but idk just yet...

all the horror stories of 4.2 shyed me away when google first released it. And on top of that, 4.1.2 was great for me, everything worked, it was hot rodded by all the devs, and just worked. I had no purpose for it, but now...idk____just dont know!

I have tried 4.1 but had issues, every time I tried to flash the my verizon fix or any otber mod my phone would reboo and come back stock. Nothing would stick. even tried eclipse, too many features were missing that Sourcery has me hooked on...restored 3.2 I'm still on JBS3.2 and it runs flawless for me. What is the advantage of jumping to 4.2?

I too am still on 3.2 (no problembs which is why im still running and loving it), heard too many complaints about 4.2.1 and how google birthed it prematurely tsk tsk... Still skeptical of this new bean from google smh,
JBS 4.3, wasnt this just on 4.2 an hour ago? lol
