[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Not yet, is there a ODIN JB?

I don't think so, but I'm sure there has to be instructions on how to convert a rom from the .zip to the appropriate file type somewhere.

I have just been pointed at a place where folks like me are reporting the same and reading up now. Its more common than I knew. It may be a hardware version 9 thing.

That would be interesting, I didn't read the whole thread but another hypothesis I have that may or not have been mentioned is maybe for some reason, your phone freaks out seeing files leftover from ICS(the remaining parts of the internal "sd card". Meaning the only way to flash a rom would be to wipe this, but doing so would obviously delete the rom you need for clockworkmod. Meaning the only way to flash it would be through odin or fastboot. Sounds unlikely, but it's a guess.

Just read the thread also. It has nothing to do with hardware version IMO, I'm on v9 and so are many others and we do fine on JB. Somebody in there mentioned an issue mounting partitions. I'm betting that's the crux of the issue and why some people occasionally get lucky and get one to go...fortunate timing where mount occurs.

If Gapi relocked and unlocked again, the sdcard partition would have been wiped so I don't think its remnants though that was a good idea. I'm intrigued by this now. Sorry to derail, I'll get back to topic now.

I did format the SD card and I tell ya it was tough getting her back up. It was like I was soft bricked.

I was having issues getting Win7 to see it in device manager then went to Wugs_Gnex Root toolkit with no luck and then went to one called Galaxy Nexus ToolKit and it pulled me through. I am glad I have both of them on hand. It seems when one has trouble the other will work.

After that I was sure it would load because the phone was thoroughly cleansed. But Not.

Hi guys, just flashed this ROM today on my new GNEex and might have found a bug. I haven't read through the entire thread but i'm not getting any facebook sound notifications. The phone will vibrate and I'll get a icon notification but no sound. Anyone else have this issue?

Some claim the new CWM touch is an issue and others say it does fine for them. I have tried all of them and TWRP also. No - Go

I am having the same problem with Facebook. Sometimes it plays my sound and sometimes it doesn't. It seems to be ROM related.

They are turned on yes. Also they worked on xenon, jelly belly and liquids. I get the light notification but no sound now. All my other notifications work fine.

Can you take pictures using the power button? Because it doesn't work for me. I thought I had read on the rom features & changelog list that you could.

I may have found a work around for the no sound issue. If i use light flow for the color change in the led and the sound it seems to work for now

First time posting in the GNEX forums. Came from a Thunderbolt.

Can anyone recommend a kernel to use with this ROM? The stock kernel isn't impressive at all. I'm looking for speed and stability. Many thanks!

soo i love this rom. hands down. however.. before 2.1 i could honestly say it was the smoothest experience ive had on a rom. however...after updating to 2.1 via in sourcery tools.. i have experienced random reboots and deep sleeps whenever my awake phone.is anyone else experiencing this? or should i just clean flash the full 2.1 rom

Download the full rom and do a clean install. this was the largest update we had tried using the update and it just isnt as good as the clean install.

Stock ROM... stock camera.... and gallery setting is in camera to set power as shutter to take pictures. If gallery is changed as many gapps are doing it will not be available in option in camera.

I just wanted to give an update. I uninstalled and reinstalled the facebook app, then shortly after an update was released so I installed that and the app no gives notifications correctly.
