[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Thanks!!!
I see! I might mess around with more options. It has made me fall in love with my phone again....it will make the wait for the Galaxy Note 2 much less antzy. haha

Okay, I wiped it all, clean-flashed 3.1 and deliberately didn't restore BT settings via Titanium Backup. Set it up & paired manually. Turned off the BT headset, turned it back on, hit Play and...

Music started right up!

Go figure. I have no idea what was clogging that up, but I know now that it's something in the restore/dirty flash process. Kudos to Team Sourcery: sorry I ever doubted you! :D

So yesterday...first day on 3.1...almost 4 hrs of screen time with 30 min Pandora streaming. Loving battery life, however at times it feels my phone slows down a bit..especially opening recent and flipping back and forth. After a few times phone speeds back up...but any real reason for this lag? Or should I randomly just kill all?

4 hours....wifi?

I would suggest a reboot daily. I never have lag and I reboot daily, if not multiple times a day when testing

Mostly. I went for a morning run and streamed Pandora on 3g with GPS tracking my run too. I also have a 2100 extended battery

I guess not really lag I am talking about..but after I open a recent the page refreshes... kind of annoying if I am going back and forth from Google and chrome...is this a kernel thing..aggressive lmk settings...or how android works?! Lol

Hi Sweaty... :p

Well, it's not helping my rather harmless habit at all that Android 4.2 just got released - so dear Team Sourcery, when do we get to test drive it?

And should we look for JBSourcery 4 in the coming weeks? I know I'M stoked to see the new functionality on my beloved Nexus in a way only Team Sourcery can make happen!

Hi,

Back on JB Sourcery. At the beginning when it came out, my phone was having a ton of issues with this ROM, but now it seems to be working fine.

What kernel works best with this ROM? I need one that will help battery life.

Each kernel works differently with each device... so there IS no perfect kernel for my phone that will be equally perfect on yours. I'm pretty good with the stock Trinity kernel, myself. Lean is nice. Popcorn is too.

I would suggest you test drive a few to see which kernel works best on YOUR phone :)

Is anyone else having issues with losing reception after flashing 3.1? I never had issues until I flashed 3.1 and for some reason I am getting network errors VERY often. I did have this issue on the old radios but after I flashed the new JB radios I was totally fine. I am going to try to reflash them to see if somehow something got messed up.

Not having reception issues here.

Tdevaugh,
What happened to the option of choosing the screen rotation speed? Mine seems very slow.
