[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Can someone please help me out. I cannot get my home screens to rotate since updating from 2.3 to the newest version tonight. I believe I have all options clicked to allow this to happen yet nothing is working. I've checked the auto rotate box, allow 180 degree box, anything else? Thanks.

There is a button at the very top when u pull down the notification bar not including the toggles that locks the screen in position. Note idk if that's it I'm just guessing.

Thank you for that try, I noticed that one two, but that seems to work for shifting the screens when you are not at your home screen. But again, I appreciate your shot.

did you look in the launcher settings? For Nova it is called Nova settings and then Look and feel and the option is screen orientation

I realize this thread is about the Galaxy Nexus but I thought it would be the best place to ask this. Is there a ROM close to JBSourcery (in terms of customizing options and amazing dev support) for the Nexus 7?

Hi there, I installed this ROM recently and I'm not sure if this is a problem with the ROM but when I leave my phone for charging for a while and when I get a call, I am unable to hear the person on the other end. It only works after I have rebooted the phone.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do you have any recommendations on how I can stop this from happening?

Roshchan, welcome to Android Forums! Great to have you here!

How exactly did you flash this ROM? What did you wipe in recovery? We need to know the exact process you followed to start helping you :)

Thanks chief. saved myself from being Ninja'd :)
saw your post just in time before I hit submit

definately need to know if a dirty or a clean flash. Clean meaning a full wipe (factory reset).

To flash this ROM, I used ClockworkMod Recovery Mod v.6.0.1.0 and I did it in the following order:

1) Wipe davlik cache
2) Wipe cache partition
3) Wipe data/factory reset
4) Then I chose to install from sdcard: JBSourcery-LTE-V3.zip and gapps-jb-20121012-JZO54K.zip
5) I rebooted right after that.

Hope that helps.

I had a similar issue but for me it was the screen that would turn off and I couldn't turn it back on and the call was muted. After a restart (which cut the call) it would work for one or two calls then it would come back. I re-downloaded it and did a factory restore before re-flashing (I didn't for the initial flash) and I haven't seen it since.

I just completed a clean install and followed these steps:
1. Boot into Recovery
2. Make a Nandroid backup
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. Wipe cache partition
5. Wipe Dalvik Cache
6. Flash ROM
7. DO NOT REBOOT

did you install gapps originally?

the steps you just noted, you installed a rom.. then you wiped it out by installing a backup that you just made. So in essence, you put the same setup you previously had on.

If it helps Roshchan, I created a humble little tutorial on flashing a ROM on the Galaxy Nexus with minimal loss of data. With a little experience, you can be up and running again in 30 minutes on a clean wipe.

The Chief's Quick Guide to Flashing a ROM

This is an excruciating, step-by-step guide on ROMming... and even if you don't follow the whole thing exactly, maybe you'll find a nugget or two in there that will help you :)

I finall got around to installing Google wallet. Now it says my version is no longer supported to update it. Click update and the Play Store says my device is not compatible. It use to be... Anyone know of a work around? The sticky in the fourm did no help... Solutions greatly appreciated.
