[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

I am getting the same thing, plus boot loop after making a call, then when the WiFi reconnected....I can post the change log....but, I went back to 6.4.1....just fyi

I don't feel comfortable posting this one up on my drop box since I had too many issues....but people can find it on the roots thread..... thanks

In a bout of frustration I jumped ship and am trying on AOKP for now. I'm not a customization person so I'm not big on that.. just want a solid stock.. 6.4.1 was a hit for sure.. if AOKP doesn't do it for me I'll probably jump back to that. I know each ROM has it's own set of issues but these things keep popping up in JBelly.

Just updated the OP for AOKP if you need a change. Sorry your Jelly Belly experience has left a bad taste. I am sure Jake will iron out these issues at some point.

I kept getting minor issues with Jelly Belly too. Things like options not sticking if phone hadn't been rebooted for a few days...granted a reboot fixed it but still a little annoying.

If you are looking for a stock type Rom, I have had better luck with Bugless Beast. The lack of the stock browser was keeping me from trying it originally, but it has been posted as a zip.

I had tried out BB a while back.. not sure why I left it but I may have to try it again. Always liked Pete's stuff. thanks.

Congrats on being the new OP!

I cleaned up the old change log for 6.3 that was hanging out at the bottom of the OP. Hope you don't mind friend.

What type of contact do you have with Jake?

How is it working?? Did you try Lean? Side question.. are the radios like the bootloader, you only need to flash once?

Its working great. Yes, using lean. Better battery than I have seen for months....about 40% left by the time I get home (where it was about 15% last week....)
Did not over clock, or change anything just left the kernel with the installed settings.
And the radios and boot loader are similar...just flash once and you are good. They won't change unless you flash a different one.

7.3 is up on Goo.IM, along with the 9/14 GAPPS....

Looks like there are some inconsistencies with the 9/14 GAPPS for some, so hang on to your 8/31 GAPPS just in case for now. I am NOT having any problems, dirty flashed 7.3 and the 9/14 GAPPS....works perfect.

Also, for those that have not already found it, here is the Google Wallet updated .apk, since Jakeday does include wallet, I was not sure if the new one is already built into the GAPPS.....

GWallet for VZW Nexus

Good luck, and an official update to the OP as soon as Jakedays Rootz thread gets the change log.

Just installed 7.3 and today's gapps my Google search keeps crashing. Any ideas?

I would recommend redownloading the gapps package this morning. There were some changes late last night to the package, new md5, but the same name. Jakeday says he fixed it....however, some users are finding that the 8/31 gapps works too, just that some of the google apps are outdated....also why I posted the link to the newest Google Wallet....since the 8/31 gapps has the older version.

7.3 can be a dirty flash, BUT:
Make sure to clear cache AND dalvik, flash ROM and gapps, reboot, let settle. Then recovery to flash any mods, kernels, etc then reboot.
The newest gapps from this morning is working perfect, and I used GWallet today...so I am great!!
OP to be updated shortly.....

Hey guys, this is my first time rooting and installing a ROM, so I went with Jelly Belly 7.3 and installed it, while I extracted the GAPPS.zip into the Jelly Belly folder. Weirdly, the GAPPS.zip I downloaded only had Google Play. What's the file with all the rest of the Google Apps?

7.3 (md5: c6dfbe5f094bf686f3a8c9fda341f837)
fixed issue with slow network hand-offs
fixed lag on Google Now
additional changes for TiBu (and similar apps)
fixed bug in google backup transport (you need to select your account though)
other minor bug fixes
upgraded apps in gapps
use my new 9/14 GApps! (md5: f82b72a0fb47a413c6692033c7e17c83)
