[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

I guess I'll flash this one in the morning to update from 1.9...

...unless 2.6 or 2.7 are out by then :p

Jake is throwing out some updates - I don't think he ever sleeps!

Seriously! I'm back on ics since 2.3 was hosed. Will try 2.4 maybe tomorrow.

If you look through the thread @ rootz you'll find many mirrors for dnld.

When I first went to dnld it on his original site I started the dnld & it said 3 days lmao

Good morning Jelly Beaners! :D

I was going through the 800+ pages of Rootzwiki that were posted over night :p and guess what?

TiBU has an update! It's fully Jelly Bean compatible!
In fact, I have a bunch of updates...

Go get it, folks!

EDIT: There is a JB Bootloader posted for flashing, but you go right ahead. Homey don't mess with bootloaders... especially since there's no old bootloader to flash back to. Just FYI :)

Alright, so here was my overnight. I don't remember 4.0.4 stock ROM going awake that much overnight.

I sure wish that Koush would fix ClockworkMod for Nexus. It is SO sensitive! Takes forever to actually select something because you blow right past it!

And yes, I have used Touch Recovery. It was great. But for some reason, Touch was having issues with JB and I flashed out of it.

2.4 booting up.... fast boot-up!

EDIT: Dirty flashed from 1.9 to 2.4, used Proper gapps 7-4.

Booted up fast, wifi locked instantly. Had to install Maps & Currents from Play (no big deal). We'll see how fast GPS locks. Should be fast.

EDIT EDIT: And it was. Turned on Wifi & GPS, they locked within seconds.

So far, 2.4 FTW! :D

Install Goomanager from the Play Store. You can use it to install TWRP, which is far better than CWM. You can set everything up via Goomanager, then it'll reboot and pass the commands to TWRP. Even better, if the ROM you're using is on goo.im it'll even automatically download it for you. All of it works great in JB!

I've been using ClockworkMod Recovery since December 2009. But just because it's the way I've always done it doesn't mean it's the best way to do it.

I have reviewed TWRP and find it to be very impressive. I have downloaded it and will flash it later... of course, I have some playing around to do with 2.4 first ;)

Just curious, are you flashing the JB Bootloader with 2.4 or not? Just getting ready to move from 1.9 to 2.4 and wondered what kind of results you are seeing either way.

Note: Well, guess it doesn't matter for now because this is all I get on the only link in the op for the jb bootloader: Sorry, we are unable to retrieve the document for viewing or you don't have permission to view the document.

So, can't download it anyways

No JB bootloader for me. Just dirty flashed from 1.8-2.4, re-installing a few Google Apps (Besides Maps and Currents, had to re-install Wallet too).
