[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

dirty flashed 3.0 w 7/10 gapps fine. It's okay... google now is broken though. Who cares? I hardly use it.

Steven,

What did you dirty flash from? I'm on 2.6 right now and thought about trying a dirty flash to 3.0. Also, are you running the JB loader? I've got to install that as well...still on ICS one right now.

Addendum: There's nothing so special about this that you should flash it and there is too much broken. If anyone cares for my opinion? I'd tell them to wait until 3.1, which shoooooould be more stable.

Apparently calendar sync doesn't work. That's a biggie for me.

I wonder if a clean install would fix anything or are others that did clean install having same problems?

That's why I'm trying to reassure you all; if you do as clearly instructed you won't have any issues. And don't go it dirty! It's a new mod base! Wipe data, flash ROM, flash the 7/10 proper gapps, reboot, profit!

Zero problems here on v3. I'm running the Gummy Gapps posted in Jakes thread, the right Gapps are the key to full success. Its so much better than previous versions of JB as far as I'm concerned. Won't be going backwards from here. And I'm not running the JB bootloader either.

Just wiped clean from JB v2.5 to AOKP M6 so I could get a stable 4.0x nandroid before switching to JB for good. I wasn't sure how long I'd stay on M6 before flashing JB v3.x, but these posts make me want to do it right away. I saw some people at rootz wiki earlier today that were having problems, but I've always been a diligent wiper (pardon the pun) so I'm feeling good about v3.0 or 3.1.

Again, I highly recommend a wipe on this one, and I'm anti-wiping. This is like when all ROMs got updated from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 and they said a wipe is mandatory. It's a new mod base. Wipe, it'll take 20 min top to set it all back up, and then you can go dirty from here on out. But if there's ever a time to wipe, this is it.

Yeah its go time. This is butter.

Just got done loading 3.0 and everything is looking good so far. Anyone notice the camera shutter sound is changed?

Ran into a few issue. For some reason I have 2 camera and 2 gallary icons. Not a deal breaker but kind of weird.

OK so a clean wipe and installation of $.0 did not work so I went back to 2.6. I then did a dirty flash of 3.0 and everything seems to be working.

Common issue from what I've read. Jake is fixing it in 3.1 which he says will likely drop tonight. For now, if it annoys you, disable one :)

Dang, you people are confusing the crap outta me! :p

Clean wipe required... yet clean wipe breaks stuff.

Don't dirty flash... yet dirty flash works brilliantly.

OOOOH I hate paradoxes!

So.... I guess I'll try a dirty flash of 3.0 with 7/10 gapps proper and see what happens. Worst case? It screws up and I have to go back & Super Wipe. Whaaa.

Absolute worst case? I nandroid back to 2.5 again :)

Hmm, it seems I have to grant superuser access to every root app each time I use them even though I have the "remember selection" box checked. Anybody else have that?
