Currently people will feel like they are saving money until they start using more data with multitasking and realize the need a bigger data plan. Then they will go over that limit and will get hit with overages until att releases a bigger data plan, after people are in an uproar, with a higher cap that costs more that the unlimited plan was. So in the end they are making more money and you are getting less.
Hopefully when verizon fallows suit and caps their plans, they will still offer an unlimited option, but it will probably be more expensive than the price is now. Thats how I see verizon saying they have a better smartphone plan than att. I mean 2mb for 15 bucks? I have already blown past that just steaming pandora for a few hours driving to work.
200mb you mean? And i know. Verizon already has done somewhat of teiring, if you get a "multimedia phone" which is total BS in my opinion, you HAVE to pay an extra 10 bucks for 25mbs a month. Theres no way around it. What am i gonna do with 25mb? Look at a few pictures? Verizon wont implement it until theyre sure Att didnt screw up.
I use around 7gb a month, i call that heavy use... With att's new plan id be paying what, around $200 for my habit?
