Thanks for the bug report. Got the calendar bug fixed. Looking into this now.

I just finished installing the ROM and latest update. When I try to open Titanium Backup it launches but just stays on the 'searching application data...' screen and never goes past that point.

Bug with Titanium Backup. Search Google for solution. Has nothing to do with this ROM.

11/07/2013: Dominion/9.2
  • (System) Fixed: Corrected framework-res number picker layout to resolve crashes in TouchWiz Messaging preferences, possibly others
  • (Apps) Fixed: TouchWiz Calendar force closes upon changing tabs
Please download and apply the latest version of your preferred theme after updating.

----------------------
Holo Blue and TouchWiz themes had updated due to changes in this release. Please re-download them if you desire.

This release changes framework files. You may need to re-enter your Google account credentials after installing.

I haven't run into this problem. Did you perform a clean install of 9.0 or 9.0a?

You can try clearing data for Google Services Framework.
Try removing your Google account and re-adding it to the phone.

Was a clean install of 9.0. Tried your suggestions - didn't work. Reflashed 9.0. Seems okay now.

soo...i followed all the steps correctly, but oddly enough i'm getting no os installed ?

edit: Nvm, it fully installed, for some reason my phone skipped the base install and just installed the apps.

It may be something on my end but wanted to throw this out there.

Since installing 9.0 I have experienced a sleep of death every few days. Phone won't respond at all. Requires battery pull. I just installed Voltage Control and scaled my max cpu back to see if there's any change.

Still working great after a week of uptime.

No bugs. Everything works. 4g is ridiculously fast. No longer a Cyano loyalist.

AWD Smartlauncher with morph theme is awesome with Dominion.

Moon, time to declare Victory!

Two super minor things: with trickster or no-frills to set clock, settings will stick but when I reopen either app it will set min to 1.0ghz unless I reapply before closing. Confirmed with frequency logs. Also, it seems to charge slower? Even with powersave, this is the only time I've had battery % go down while plugged into USB. (Full bright, wifi, playing psx emu @ 1.2 ghz I lose a few % per hour instead of gaining a few %). No biggie. Gotta play with governors. Probably just because I have 4g now.

It's been my experiences that sleep of death is usually related to minimum frequency being set too low (see, for example, Amazon's Kindle Fire or the HTC Evo 3D/V 4G). As I understand it, the CPU can't ratchet it's speed up fast enough to handle the wake-up functions so the phone/device just freezes (oversimplified explanation, obviously). Max CPU speed set too high, on the other hand, would be more likely to cause random reboots usually due to not being able to get enough power and/or overheating (the hotter the CPU gets, the more 'power' that is wasted through heat; again, oversimplification). Try setting your minimum frequency a little higher and see if that helps.

There were some tweaks applied to the build.prop in version 8.3 to improve power saving, you can try disabling them. They should be at the end of the build.prop in a section that is clearly labelled as Conquest additions. The specific items I'd recommend disabling would be:

  • pm.sleep_mode=1
  • ro.ril.disable.power.collapse=1
and maybe
  • persist.sys.purgeable_assets=1

Just remove the lines from the build.prop, save it, and push it back to /system. Reboot and see if it helps any.

All that having been said, I have yet to experience either a random reboot or a sleep of death. I use TricksterMod to set my frequencies to MIN/384 MHz, MAX/1.5GHz, Interactive Governor, frequency lock enabled, Deadline scheduler, and MP-Decision disabled. Seems rock-solid, at least for my phone. Bear in mind, our phones are only certified to operate at 1.2 GHz (this doesn't mean that they'll only operate at 1.2 GHz; here is a nice article that gives a good overview of how this works) so your experience may vary.

The first thing I checked was the minimum cpu speed cause that's what's caused me issues on other phones.

I'll try the removing the build prop tweaks and see if that helps

Let me know how it works out!

Frequencies not sticking actually seems to be some kind of bug with Android 4.1 in general, from what I've read, but it's something that can be overcome. Try setting the frequency lock on in Trickster or no-frills (Trickster's is right on the same page as the frequencies; No-Frills' is in the settings menu). I had the same problem until I did. Also I recommend turning off the MP-Decision daemon (if using TricksterMod). The kernel has a much better one built-in.

You can also try turning on Fast Charge in TricksterMod. Might help with charging over USB, but I can't say as I don't use it myself. In general, though, charging through USB is not going to work as well as charging via the dedicated charger. The USB port can't put out as much amperage.

Hey my video player (samsung vp) doesnt work, it says it isnt responding. Im wondering if the mx player is conflicting with it. So i tried to find the Samsung vp.apk n no go. Do u know where i can find the stock vp or should I uninstall it and make mx player default?

Please don't use this on MC1. It was designed to be used with MG5. I cannot answer any support questions if you are using Conquest on a phone that has never been updated to MG5.

Also, please refrain from double-posting. There is an "EDIT" button for a reason.
