Root Virtual Memory

Yeah I got everything setup with my SSM 4 partition mode, I'm pretty sure anyway, but I couldnt remember if the act of "using internal as more memory" was specific to just Data mode, or both. It;s been a while since I messed with it and can't remember exactly. I went back through 3 different topics, but still not sure. This is my current Terminal output:

so at this point I can do the: su - mkswap /dev/block/stl13 - and this will let me use the internal data partition as virtual memory, right?

Or am I confused about using this with my current SSM/4 partition setup?

-thanks

looking back at old posts, I'm thinking this is wrong. I'm under the impression that the whole mkswap /dev/block/stl13 is for data mode only. I'm confused. Not sure. I think I'm mxing up what I thought was something else. its been a while. lol
?

Yes, you are correct. When you use SSM stl13 is being used for data.

With data mode you aren't using stl13 for anything, its dormant so there is no issues turning it into swap
